Spurge high is one of the plants of the family called euphorbia, in Latin the name of this plant will sound as follows: Euphorbia procera Bieb. As for the name of the milkweed family itself, then in Latin it will be like this: Euphorbiaceae Juss.

Description of milkweed high

Euphorbia is a perennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between fifty and one hundred centimeters. Such a plant is densely bushy, and the root will be many-faced and thick. The stalks of the tall milkweed are erect and quite numerous; they will be endowed with two to ten axillary peduncles. The inflorescence of this plant is corymbose, the apical peduncles can be from five to eight pieces, their length will not reach two centimeters, and at the end they will be tripartite. The leaves of the high milkweed are broadly ovate, the leaves at the wrappers will be oblong-elliptical in shape, and they are painted in yellowish-green tones. The glass of this plant will be bell-shaped, its length will be about two and a half millimeters, and its diameter will be about two and a half to three millimeters, there are only four nectarics. The triple root of the tall milkweed is flattened-spherical, its length is about three and a half to four millimeters, while the width will be equal to four to four and a half millimeters. The seed of this plant is compressed ovate, its length will be from two to twenty one and a half millimeters, it is smooth and colored in dark brown tones.

The flowering of high milkweed occurs in the period from May to June. Under natural conditions, this plant is found throughout the entire European part of Russia. For growth, this plant prefers meadows, pine and deciduous forests. It is noteworthy that the tall spurge is not only an insecticide, but also a poisonous plant.

Description of the medicinal properties of milkweed high

Euphorbia is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the roots and grass of this plant. Grass includes leaves, flowers, and stems.

Milkweed high is endowed with very effective emetic, keratolytic, diuretic, laxative and antitumor effects. A powder prepared from the roots of this plant is recommended for use in cases of rabies. A decoction based on the herb of high milkweed should be used as an anthelmintic agent. It is noteworthy that the aerial part of this plant has the ability to stain tissues in both yellow and green tones. It should be remembered that the milky juice of milkweed will irritate the skin.

In case of cancer, it is recommended to use the following healing agent based on this plant: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take two grams of dry crushed milkweed roots in one glass of water. The resulting medicinal mixture should be boiled for about six to seven minutes, then this mixture is left to infuse for one hour, after which the medicinal mixture is filtered very carefully. Take such a remedy two to three times a day, one tablespoon after a meal.

The following healing agent based on this plant is used as a diuretic: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take two grams of dry crushed milkweed herb in a glass of water, boil for five minutes, let it brew and strain. Take such a healing agent after meals, one tablespoon two to three times a day.
