Mytnik tall is a perennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between ten and forty centimeters, and is also a semi-parasite. The stems of this plant are thin, while the basal leaves will be less numerous and will also be pinnately dissected into deep pinnately spaced segments. The flowers of the tall mytnik are in a rather dense inflorescence, the corolla of this plant is painted in yellow tones, and its length will be about twenty to twenty five millimeters. The middle bracts of this plant are three- and five-lobed. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Central Asia, the Far East, in the Altai and Verkhne-Tobolsk regions of Western Siberia, as well as in the Daursky and Angara-Sayan regions of Eastern Siberia.

For growth, the tall mytnik prefers sandy shores, thickets of bushes, forests and alkaline meadows.

Description of the medicinal properties of the tall mytnik

Mytnik tall is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the roots, flowers and the entire above-ground part of this plant. It is noteworthy that the tall mytnik is also an ornamental plant.

The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of coumarins and alkaloids in the composition of this plant, while the following iridoids will be present in the roots: harpagid derivatives, isocatalpol and aucubin. In the herb of this plant, coumarins, saponins and such flavonoids were found: derivatives of luteolin, apigenin, kaempferol and quercetin. The stems contain saponins, flavonoids and iridoids, while the leaves contain saponins and flavonoids.

The decoction, prepared on the basis of the roots of mytnik tall, is recommended for use as a diuretic. The herb of this plant is endowed with a very effective diuretic, anti-inflammatory and hemostatic effect. It is recommended to use an infusion based on the herb of mytnik high for syphilis, diarrhea and metrorrhagia, as well as for hyperkeratosis of the scalp and for resorption of hemorrhoids. The infusion, prepared on the basis of Mytnik flowers, is recommended to be used as an antipyretic, diuretic and hemostatic agent. A decoction of the aerial part of the herb of this plant is used for neurasthenia, tendon rupture, pulmonary tuberculosis, pneumonia and nephritis.

As a diuretic, it is recommended to use the following healing agent based on the tall mytnik: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take one teaspoon of the crushed roots of this plant in one glass of water. The resulting mixture should be boiled for about four to five minutes over a fairly low heat, and then such a mixture should be left to infuse for one hour, after which such a medicinal mixture based on a tall mytnik should be filtered very carefully. Take the resulting medicinal product three times a day, one or two tablespoons as a diuretic. It should be noted that with proper application and adherence to all the rules of preparation and reception, such a remedy based on a tall mytnik will be very effective. For this reason, it is important to carefully follow all instructions for preparing this product.
