Every gardener dreams that the purchased plant will take root well in a new place, please with abundant flowering for many years. Correct placement of the "pet", competent landing will provide comfortable conditions for further existence. What agricultural techniques do you need to know when growing cyanosis?

Landing

Plants are transplanted in early spring before bud break. Choose a sunny or semi-shady place. Variegated hybrids show their decorative effect to the full in well-lit areas. Greens easily put up with openwork penumbra.

On loamy, sandy loam soils, humus is introduced. Dig up the soil on the bayonet of the shovel, carefully selecting the roots of the weed vegetation.

The holes are distributed every 30-50 cm, depending on the variety. Low-growing specimens are planted closer to each other, tall ones - farther away.

The pits are watered with a solution of the complex fertilizer "Zdraven" a tablespoon without a slide on a bucket of water. One well contains 5 liters of liquid. Spread the roots of the planting material. Sprinkle with earth. Gently compact the soil from above with your hand. For high grades, a support is placed next to it.

Trunk circles are mulched with sawdust, peat or humus to retain moisture during irrigation, looseness of the soil.

Care

Timely, regular watering is an important component when caring for a plant. In dry periods, the amount of water consumed per bush is doubled until the soil is completely saturated. In rainy weather, additional irrigation is not required.

Watering is carried out in the evening hours, so that during the night the plant has time to absorb moisture and does not suffer from sunburn. Overdrying the earthen coma negatively affects the decorativeness of the cyanosis: the leaves droop, the inflorescences become smaller, the period of blooming of the buds decreases.

The horizontal rhizome is located near the surface of the soil, so the soil around the bushes is loosened with extreme care. Weeds are removed at a young age, preventing them from growing a powerful root system.

In early spring, they feed it with a complex fertilizer with a nitroammophos, scattering it in the near-trunk circles of cyanosis. At the beginning of flowering, matchbox superphosphate is added per 1 square meter. After feeding, the plants are watered abundantly.

After flowering, the stems are cut at a level of 25 cm from the ground. The remaining leaves in the lower part contribute to good photosynthesis, helping to develop a powerful root system. In the fall, the shoots are shortened to 5 cm in length.

Variegated undersized varieties do not need pruning. To preserve the decorative appearance, faded buds are removed throughout the summer.

Areas of use

Cyanosis is widely used in several ways:

1. Landscaping. Looks original in solitary plantings among the lawn, in the background of a complex mixborder. Tall varieties are able to cover nondescript areas of the garden: compost heaps, sheds, cesspools. Bushes planted along the fence attract attention during flowering with bright cascades of bells. The older the bush, the more flower stalks it grows. Low-growing variegated hybrids are suitable for curb applications. The best partners are the swimsuit, Siberian irises, brunner.

2. Floristics. Long standing in bouquets. It goes well with chamomiles, bells, forget-me-nots, brunner, splayed phlox.

3. Honey bearing. In the northern regions, it is the main source for the supply of honey due to early flowering.
