The performance "New Year's Wish" takes place on the stage and on a huge dome-screen. This is a story about how, on New Year's Day, one small wish can have big consequences
A series of festive performances at the Moscow Planetarium will begin on December 17, 2018.
Due to the combination of various visual concepts, the viewer will feel that he also shrinks in size along with the main character, rushes on a trolley along the hole of the Old Mole, travels through the fairy forest on a huge Owl and gets into the house of Santa Claus through the chimney.
According to the plot, schoolboy Makar comes with his parents to the dacha on New Year's Eve. The holiday mood is spoiled by the whims of Makar, who refuses to believe in Santa Claus and other miracles. The behavior of the protagonist does not go unnoticed for the magical Postman who delivers New Year's gifts. Makar, dissatisfied with the amount of sweets presented, demands a mountain of chocolate, and then the Postman performs a miracle and reduces the boy to the size of a Mouse. Now, ordinary candy is indeed gigantic, like a mountain.
Makar, Mouse, Old Mole and Postman - the heroes of the show - become friends thanks to the twists and turns of the plot. And before the fastidious boy more than once comes to the rescue of his new acquaintances and saves them from trouble. However, only Santa Claus can remove the enchantment and return Makara to his former height. The heroes travel to the main winter wizard through a snow-covered forest on a huge owl. The path to the sorcerer is indicated by the winter constellations and flashes of the Aurora Borealis.
How will the heroes' extraordinary journey end? After all, there is only one hour left before the New Year!
You can buy tickets for the New Year's performance at the Moscow Planetarium at the box office and on the website. The festive performance "New Year's Wish" will be held in the Big Star Hall, with the participation of artists from the popular "Children's Music and Drama Theater" A-Ya ".
The Christmas trees in the Planetarium have been held for the fourth year and are a unique show of its kind. The performance of the artists on the stage is masterly combined with a full-dome video projection - part of the fairytale action takes place right over the heads of the audience, capturing them into the New Year's story.
