We all take care of the household, the house, the garden, the plants growing on our site. But care is required not only for all of the above, but also for our pens, especially after we tinker in our favorite garden. You need to wash your hands and moisten them. How to put your hands in order after gardening work?
We launder
Clean hands are, perhaps, the basis of beauty and health. But often after fiddling in the ground, dirt gets clogged under the nails, which is then difficult to wash out of there, and the skin of the hands is not cleaned of traces of grass.
What to do? The best option is to put on gloves before work on the site, especially since now their choice is simply huge: from simple fabric to thin latex ones. In addition, there is now a special cosmetic product called liquid gloves. It does not protect your hands from injury, but it does not allow dirt to dig into your skin. Sometimes it happens that for some reason the gloves are not put on (forgot, do not like), then you have to wash your hands.
The best way to do this is to hand wash with regular laundry soap. Although soap has one drawback - it dries the skin a lot. But we will fix this, but for now let's start washing. For example, on those days when I plan to work in the garden, I leave the washing of the white socks of my gymnast daughter, since it takes a lot of effort to wipe them off. And the hands after this procedure are always clean, even the dirt under the nails is not kept. If after intensive washing, there is a little dirt under the nails, remove it with the sharp tip of a file or a special brush.
If the traces of grass are not completely removed from the hands, then you can rub your hands with ordinary sorrel or wash with a solution of citric acid. Acid (even citric acid, even oxalic acid) removes any dirt well (washing is usually enough for me).
Nutrition and hydration
The above procedure for cleansing the skin is good, of course, but it dries hands quite a lot (both washing and acid). Therefore, after cleansing, the skin must be softened and moisturized. Masks are best for this. You can use commercially available masks in tubes from your favorite manufacturer. Or you can turn to folk remedies. Here are some examples of good products for the skin.
1. Take 25 grams of honey and almond oil, mix, add 1 raw yolk and juice of one lemon. Mix thoroughly again to obtain a homogeneous mass. Then we apply a thick layer on our hands, put on cotton gloves and rest for 3-4 hours (I make a similar mask at night). Then wash off the mask with warm water without soap, now you can apply your favorite nourishing or moisturizing cream.
2. A simple mask of honey and cream nourishes and softens the skin (cream can be replaced with fat sour cream). Mix the ingredients in equal proportions, gently apply on hands for 25-30 minutes. Then wash it off with warm water.
3. If the skin is cracked during work, then pamper it with a mask of boiled potatoes, milk and flour. Just mix everything in approximately equal proportions (I do it by eye) to get the consistency of a rather thick sour cream. Then apply the mixture to your hands and leave for 15-20 minutes. Rinse and apply any nourishing or moisturizing cream to your hands.
4. Moisturizing hand mask: Mix equal amounts of honey, flour and glycerin. Then add twice as much warm water as honey or glycerin to the mixture. Lower your hands into the resulting mass and hold them there for 15-20 minutes. After such a mask, the hands will be very delicate.
If you don't have time for masks, just lubricate your hands with moisturizing or nourishing cream. But the effect will be several times worse.
If you want your hands to be always soft and beautiful, then remember that all procedures for caring for them must be carried out systematically. If you take care of the pens from time to time, you will not achieve the desired result. Believe me, the beauty and softness of your pens is worth your time!

Beautiful Flower Bed With Your Own Hands
