We continue to search for plants growing around us, created by the Almighty to support the human body, which bears so many hardships. Do not wait for the disease to knock on the window. We must be able to outsmart her by strengthening her immunity before she arrives

Black currant

There is nothing more familiar among garden shrubs than black currant. Its healing abilities are available to everyone, and there is no limit to their breadth and versatility. From the wild, where she likes to settle in humid forests, on forest edges and clearings, along the banks of rivers and streams, she moved to the gardens that were created by monks in the 11th century.

The healing properties of leaves and berries cannot be overstated. Healthy leaves, along with the petioles, are harvested in the first two summer months, and the berry is harvested as it ripens. Dried raw materials retain their aroma and useful components, supporting a person in cold winters.

Vitamin salads

Already in the spring, you can prepare simple in composition, but very vitamin salads from currant leaves and primrose. For one part of currant leaves, take 4 parts of primrose leaves. They are thoroughly washed, finely chopped and, seasoned with crushed walnuts and rustic sour cream, they enjoy a fragrant dish.

In late July and early August, ripening currant berries are used. By this time, the "girls who sit in the dungeon" had already filled the beds with juice, and therefore, we go to the garden, take out a couple of orange carrots from the dungeon, chop them on a fine grater and mix with an equal amount of mashed currant berries. If you add sour cream or whipped cream to this fragrant and bright dish, then, simply the saliva flows from one memory.

Healing drinks

To saturate the body with vitamins that strengthen the immune system, juice, tea, infusions are prepared from currants.

Infusion of berries

The berries can be fresh or dry. Pour two tablespoons of pre-grated berries with a glass of boiling water. After a couple of hours, strain and drink in two doses the day before meals.

Breeders, when developing cultivated varieties of blackberries, have deprived them of their natural sharp thorns. But along with the thorns, the blackberry also lost its healing powers. Therefore, for healing purposes, we need a pristine blackberry that is able to protect itself and human immunity.

In the wild, blackberries love to settle in the valleys of streams and rivers, comfortably settling on the slopes. Its dense thickets can be found at the edge of the forest, in clearings.

For medicinal purposes, the leaves, fruits and roots of the plant are used. The leaves are harvested during the flowering period, the fruits as they ripen, and the roots, as usual, in late autumn.

For the prevention and strengthening of the body, they eat fresh berries without fear of side effects.

We already talked about viburnum when we were sorting out plants that help to cope with nervous disorders. But viburnum is rich in a list of its healing properties. It also helps in strengthening the immune system, and in supporting the overall healthy state of the body. For these purposes, use the juice from the leaves and berries of viburnum.

Fresh leaf juice

To strengthen the immune system, freshly squeezed juice of viburnum leaves is taken 3 times a day, 50 grams each.

Fresh berry juice

An excellent general tonic is juice from fresh ripe berries. So that the juice can be stored, add 2 parts of sugar to one part of the juice, or 1 part of sugar, if there is enough space for it in the refrigerator. Tea is drunk with juice, or it is added to fruit drinks and jelly.
