Tomatoes can be susceptible to various bacterial, fungal and viral diseases. If you plant tomatoes in greenhouses, then in order to prevent it, you should in no case allow the possible waterlogging of the soil. The greenhouse itself must be well ventilated on a regular basis. Hands should be disinfected both when diving and when planting seedlings. For these purposes, the following solution can be used: 10 grams of manganese-sour potassium per one liter of water. When you carry out the so-called pinching of plants, then this procedure must be carried out with rubber gloves. Hands and scissors must be disinfected, but in this case, a fairly strong solution will be required: 50 grams of manganese-sour potassium per liter of water.

Brown spot or leaf mold will become a very dangerous disease. This disease is also characterized by a rapid spread. This disease most often manifests itself during the period when fruits are ripening. Also, favorable conditions for the development of the disease will be a rather high air humidity and insufficient ventilation. At the initial stage, the disease is manifested by the appearance of pale yellow spots on the leaves of the tomato on their upper side. As for the underside of the leaves, at first this side is light, and over time the color turns dark brown and the leaves themselves become velvety. Over time, the leaves will dry out and curl, and the development of the fruits will be stopped, and the yield itself decreases very sharply.

Another dangerous disease will be gray rot. This disease will affect the petioles, stepchildren, stems and the fruits of the tomatoes themselves. At the very beginning, a gray watery spot will appear at the stalk, it will increase very quickly in size, and over time the entire fetus will be affected. Ribbed fruits will be more affected. In order to prevent the occurrence of such a disease, care should be taken to ensure that the air humidity in the greenhouse is no more than sixty percent. To prevent the appearance of such a disease, airing and mulching the soil with straw or dry peat will help; this event should be carried out immediately after watering.

Another physiological disease is called apical rot. This disease is manifested by flat, depressed black or brown spots that appear on the tops of the fruit. This occurs as a result of dehydration of plant tissues. The disease occurs against the background of a very sharp fluctuation in moisture in the soil, as well as a high temperature regime, significant dryness of the air and an insufficient amount of calcium in the soil. Avoiding the appearance of such a disease will allow the absence of abundant watering and excessive nitrogen fertilization at a young age. In addition, there is another form of such a disease - the so-called bacterial plant disease, however, most often it occurs exclusively in the southern regions.

Streak will become another viral disease. This disease affects tomatoes that grow in greenhouses and greenhouses, as well as in open ground. Such a disease can be transmitted through soil, seeds, implements, plant residues and through the sap of diseased plants during pinching and picking. This disease manifests itself as brown streaks, streaks, and spots that form on the stems, stalks, leaves, cuttings, and fruits of plants. A rather long cloudy, damp and cold weather will be a fertile ground for the manifestation of such a disease. The disease will stop in warm weather. Tomatoes should be watered with a solution of potassium permanganate at the rate of five grams per ten liters of water.
