Historical Park "Russia-My History" is launching a large-scale annual educational program, within the framework of which more than 300 events will be held on 7 themes. The presentation of the program will take place in early November, and this weekend (October 8 and 9), trial classes will be held in key areas - the history workshop, lecture hall and multimedia theater
The History Workshop is a completely new perspective on the study of history, in which the multimedia content of the park's expositions is accompanied by a historical reconstruction of various aspects of the life of people of the past. This is material culture, and military affairs, and medicine, and publishing, and music, transmitted using the recipes, technologies and methods of the time in question. For example, on October 8, visitors to the park will learn about how the first books were created during the life of Ivan Fedorov, they will see and try to spin the wheel of the printed "colossus" on their own. And the workshop “Rus and the Teutonic Knights” will allow you to find yourself between two strong opponents at the exposition “Rurikovichi”. The excitement of battle, adrenaline, the sound of cutting blades cutting through the air will be felt by the audience, plunging into the era of ancient confrontations. On October 9, the workshop "Board Games of the Age of Vladimir" will allow you to learn the story from a different angle.
Fairy Tales in a 3D Dome are multimedia performances in the Historical Park "Russia - My History" for children and their parents. Russian folk tales and works of Russian classics will sound in a new way in the 20-meter dome of the Rurikovichi exhibition, thanks to the unique acoustics of this building. Famous voices of actors of the past, accompanied by an unusual video sequence, will leave unforgettable impressions of fairy tales from gramophone records familiar from childhood. The October multimedia screenings in the domed cinema will be accompanied by fairy tales about Ivan Tsarevich, the Firebird and about the gray wolf.
For those who are accustomed to the lecture hall format, the Historical Park has prepared a selection of the most unusual lectures that offer a new look at the familiar plots of ancient history. Lecture “Everyday history. How the 18th century fashionistas dressed”will open a series of little-known topics with the participation of famous lecturers and those whose names are still a secret.
