If you are an adherent of organic farming and do not want to use chemicals on your site, then this fertilizer recipe is just for you. Free feeding for vegetable beds is real. Moreover, such fertilizer works effectively, and the result appears literally before our eyes. The only thing that is required of you is to put in a little effort

Burning fertilizer for root and foliar feeding

If you visit the country house infrequently, do not be too lazy to pick a large armful of young nettles on the way. This medicinal plant is also great for fertilizing garden beds.

The collected grass needs to be crushed a little, if possible, break it and fill a deep barrel with about two-thirds of it. Then fill it with water and forget about it for a week or two. During this time, the green fertilizer will be infused. And with this solution it will be possible to water the beds. Use it for root feeding approximately once a week.

To use the herbal infusion for foliar feeding, take 100 ml of green fertilizer per 10 liters of water. Then it is advisable to strain it. And process the plants through a sprayer.

Fertilizer can be improved. To do this, fill a bucket one third with chopped nettle, add a half-liter jar of ash and fill the container half with water. Then wrap the bucket in a bag. For top dressing, the finished fertilizer is diluted with water 1: 5.

"Tea" for tomatoes and "snack" for weed cucumbers

It doesn't matter if there are no nettles. If you mercilessly fight weeds on your site, you probably have heaps of unnecessary grass removed from the beds. It can of course be used for compost. But it will take a long time to ripen. Well, it would be extremely unwise to throw away such raw materials, because it is possible to prepare the so-called fermented tea from it - an excellent fertilizer for tomatoes, eggplants and peppers.

How is this tea made? You will need large black trash bags and a little patience. First of all, you need to decide how urgently you need feeding. If you grind the grass, then fermentation will go faster - in a day or two, the fertilizer will be ready. And if you leave the grass uncut, then the fermentation process takes a little longer - three days.

After preparing the grass, it is placed in black bags. If the raw materials are juicy enough, then the bag is immediately tied up and placed in a warm place, preferably in the sun. When the grass is dry, you can add a glass of water to the bag, stir the contents of the bag a little. And, too, having tied it up, expose it to the sun. Place a container with water for irrigation right next to it so that it settles and heats up.

After the allotted time - two days for chopped grass and three for uncut - the bag is opened and the fermented "tea" is prepared for garden crops. To do this, the bucket is half filled with fermented grass. And then they pour warm water into it to the brim. It is better to take a plastic bucket. Or some kind of enamel dishes. It is better not to take iron buckets for these purposes.

Leave the "tea" to brew for an hour or two. And then they use it for dressing undiluted. Approximately a liter of top dressing is taken for each plant. Watered on damp ground.

The grass remaining in the bucket can be poured over with warm water again. And let it brew, but for a little longer than the first time. And in the same way they are used for dressing undiluted.

Do not throw away the herb leftover after brewing tea. It is suitable for use as mulch in cucumber beds.

Unlike a popular fertilizer such as herbal infusion in a barrel, fermented tea prepares faster. In addition, its plus is that, in comparison with the herbal infusion in a barrel, from which a not very pleasant aroma emanates, the grass in the bag does not emit an unpleasant odor.
