The presented bouquet of roses will inevitably fade. Practical summer residents do not throw away cuttings, but grow rose bushes from them. Consider 3 ways to germinate cuttings at home
Choosing a productive cutting
If you like the presented roses and want to root them, keep the bouquet clean. Change the water daily, do not allow the development of putrefactive bacteria in the vase and the formation of mucus.
When the buds are drooping, lay the bouquet on the table and select suitable stems. Strong branches are suitable for germination, without signs of decay on the cut. Thin twigs with dried leaves will not work.
The ideal material for grafting will be stems 0.5 cm thick with a dense skin, the initial stage of wooding. Selected specimens must have green leaves with buds.
Cutting roses to produce a full-fledged bush will be successful if you have flowers with pink or red buds in your bouquet. For reproduction, bouquets of February, spring cuts are suitable.
Cooking cuttings
The success of the operation is 50% dependent on the sharpness of the instrument. The pruner or knife should leave an even cut, do not make wrinkles that destroy the structure of the fibers, capillary patterns. Before work, the blade must be clean, experienced florists wipe with alcohol / vodka.
On the selected stem, the buds are removed, if the length permits, several cuttings are cut, 15-25 cm each. The rules for harvesting the cuttings consist of 3 points.
1. The lower cut is made oblique, with an indent from the kidney by 1-2 cm (the acute angle of the bevel is directed from the kidney to the opposite side), the upper one - at a right angle. There should be 2-3 leaves on a branch, dormant buds are located in the axils of each.
2. The bottom sheet is removed completely, the top ones are shortened by half.
3. Doping the prepared stems - immerse them in a growth stimulator (one third of the bottom). This technique will increase the chance of rooting. The solution is prepared according to the instructions.
The best root formers are Zircon, Etamon, Kornevin, Heteroauxin, Ribav-Extra, Ukorenit SP, KorneStim. Dilution methods / dosage, holding or dipping time, watering after planting are indicated on the package.
Rose rooting methods
Rose cuttings can be rooted in three ways, consider the description and step-by-step actions.
Method 1. Rooting in water
The prepared stems are placed in a jar of water, into which charcoal is added for disinfection. Only the bottom of the cutting is covered with water. Every day, and preferably twice a day, the water is changed. A strong root system develops within three weeks. It is clearly visible, so it is not difficult to determine the time of planting in the ground.
Method 2. Rooting in the ground
A cuttings planted in a pot with soil will develop in conditions close to natural conditions. A young plant will take root well after transplanting, as it has strong roots, is adapted to the ground, and is resistant to microorganisms.
Any container with a volume of 0.5 liters is suitable for germinating a cutting. A large number of stems can be planted in a box 15-20 cm deep with an interval of 6-8 cm. The container must have a hole for the outflow of excess water and be disinfected with manganese solution.
Drainage is laid out on the bottom (small stones). Then loose, nutritious soil is poured, it is better to use purchased universal soil. Now it remains to seal and place the stalk in the container, water and cover with a plastic bottle without a bottom, the box with polyethylene. This is to provide a humid environment. The greenhouse microclimate promotes root development.
Watering is carried out as the top layer dries. Comfortable temperature for the start of growth is +25. After 3-4 weeks, the buds will sprout, the plant can be planted in open ground.
Method 3. Rooting in a package
Rose cuttings actively form roots in wet paper wrapped in polyethylene. This method is known as the Burrito Method. In a basin / bowl, wet a newspaper folded in 4 layers, wring it out and spread it on the table. On top we put cuttings without leaves, treated with a growth stimulant, wrap. If the ends of the stems are peeking out of the paper, you need to wrap it up with another newspaper.
The package is placed in a plastic bag (it is convenient to use black for garbage 30 liters), the end is tightly tied. For reliability, it is packed in a second package. For this "packing" we look for a cool place (+ 10 … + 15, no higher than 20) and leave it there for 3-4 weeks. Once every 7-10 days, you need to check the humidity, moisten if necessary. With the formation of a developed root system, the cuttings are planted in the ground.

Ways To Deal With Strawberry Mites
The strawberry (transparent) mite very badly damages young strawberry and strawberry leaves, which subsequently turn yellow and, wrinkling, begin to gradually die off. As a result, the plants take on a dwarf appearance, and the strawberries so beloved by many cease to delight with a magnificent harvest of ripe and juicy berries. If bushes with wrinkled small leaves of a yellowish-oily shade appear on the site - it's time to start fighting the strawberry mite
