What you need for sowing in February

Planting lobelia
Delicate lobelia flowers come in different colors and types of growth (ampelous, ground cover). The flowering is profuse and long lasting. The plant fits perfectly into any composition. Blooms profusely with blue, white, pink flowers.
Sowing of lobelia is superficial, without embedding in the ground. The seeds are very small, so two methods are used for transferring to the ground.
1. Mix seeds with sand and spread evenly over damp ground.
2. More effective reception with a match / toothpick. Moisten the tip of the stick and dip in the seeds. Several (5-10) pieces stick at once. Transfer such groups to the soil with an interval of 2-3 cm between them. If you bought a bag with multi-dragee, then there are several seeds in each granule, so keep the same distance.
Finally, cover with glass, plastic, and a piece of polycarbonate. You will notice shoots in 6-10 days. Group planting facilitates picking, reduces plant injury. Experienced growers know that planting for permanent residence is carried out in bundles of several plants - the group option is most acceptable.
Sowing petunia
Viable, beautiful, unpretentious petunia is planted in all well-groomed areas. The townspeople decorate her apartments and balconies. Sowing petunias does not take long - the seeds are sown superficially, you do not need grooves and holes.
The earth must be well shed, the seeds must be distributed on top. Then seal with glass or roll a little with a bottle. The container is covered with foil (put in a plastic bag) and put away in a warm place.
When the first shoots appear, the film is removed. While the rest of the seeds germinate, make sure that the earth does not dry out. A spray bottle is used for humidification. Before disembarking to a permanent place, two picks are made. The plant tolerates a transplant easily, even if flowering has begun.
Sowing begonia
Non-capricious, textured begonia is very popular with flower growers. Many grow this motley beauty from tubers. Finding the right kind of tubers is always problematic, and seed bags are sold everywhere. You can easily choose and buy the variety you like.

Pansies (Viola)
Sowing viola in February guarantees early flowering. In May, seedlings are planted for permanent residence, and in June there is a long flowering. The seeds are not very large, so it is not necessary to make a groove before planting.
On well-moistened soil, evenly distribute seeds, sprinkle with substrate. If you do not want to do a pick, then do sowing rarely. After germination, pinch off excess specimens, leaving 4-5 cm between the seedlings.
Sowing Korean chrysanthemum
If you want to have blooming chrysanthemums in the first season, winter sowing is used. No grooves and depressions are made in the prepared soil. Sow shallowly. After placing the seeds, press down slightly with the palm of your hand and spray with a spray bottle. Keep container under plastic until emergence. In the future, a pick is required.
