The column on the thermometer drops a little lower every day. This does not prevent the flower beds from giving the aroma and tenderness of flowering plants, familiar or exotic, pleasing with their diversity, richness of colors and giving birth to a good mood
Lavatera, or Hutma
Among the plants of the Malvaceae family, which are distinguished by high growth, strong erect stems capable of bearing the weight of large leaves and funnel-shaped large flowers, which nature has awarded, for example, Stockrose, a relatively short plant stands out with graceful and delicate flowers that give rise to love at first sight. It seems that the Latin name of the genus "Lavatera" is consonant with the English word "Love", although it differs in its spelling. But this impression is erroneous, since the name of the family preserves the memory of brothers named Lavater, who lived in the seventeenth century in the Swiss city of Zurich, which today reliably stores the finances of business people from all over the world. The Lavater brothers were not financiers, but remained in the history of Mankind as famous natural scientists and doctors.
The rather unpretentious Lavatera grows better in a sunny place, successfully introducing its branched roots into well-drained soil of average fertility. The plant looks great in a single planting, especially if you combine the bushes with pink and snow-white flowers correctly. The tenderness of the flowering of Lavatera can be emphasized by planting plants in the vicinity of Salvia, Roses or Catnip (aka Catnip).
Lavatera is suitable for cutting in order to decorate living spaces with its delicate flowering. To make the gardener happy with flowering longer, fading flowers should be removed once a week. If you allow individual flowers to survive until the period of seed ripening, then the plant itself will take care of the continuation of life in the hospitable places of the summer cottage.
Among more than two dozen plant species of the Lavatera genus, there are species with healing abilities. For example, these include Lavatera Thuringian, a fresh herb and the roots of which traditional healers use to soften coughs, headaches, and various skin diseases.
Graceful Kosmeya
August is not a hindrance to the exuberant flowering of Cosmos, whose generic Latin name is "Cosmos". Although graceful flower petals in some unknown way are associated with the Cosmos, the name of the genus is based not on this endless depth above the head, pleasing with blueness on a sunny day and alarming with blackness at night, but a consonant Greek word meaning "decoration" in translation. Indeed, the Cosmeya flower, fully opening its delicate petals, is a ready-made brooch that can decorate the outfit of the most demanding fashionista. Only in a torn form, such a brooch will not last long.
On the living bushes, against the background of threadlike pinnately dissected green leaves, as on the canvas of a craftswoman, multi-colored "decorations" are scattered, delighting with their refined simplicity and luxury of colors and outlines to the very frost.
Phlox or living "flame"
The aroma of Phlox is felt from afar, being one of the smells of August (although there are species that bloom in May-June, for example, Phlox spread out). Botanists have assigned this genus of flowering plants to the Sinyukhov family. The genus owes its name to tall wild species with bright red flowers that create the impression of a bright flame among the surrounding greenery, because the basis of the Latin name of the genus "Phlox" is the consonant Greek word meaning "flame".
For almost three centuries of "cultural life" Phlox learned to dress up his delicate and fragrant flowers, forming dense friendly inflorescences, in a variety of colorful shades, delighting flower growers and delighting everyone who was lucky enough to just walk next to this wonder of the plant world.

Streptocarpus - Delicate And Refined
The appearance of streptocarpus and their special attractiveness resembles orchids, because the inflorescences of the first plants are also thin and exquisite. Even novice florists can be recommended to decorate their home with streptocarpus
Delicate Flower Borders
Flowerbeds, bordered with flower borders, have long become irrelevant. Natural beauty and flowing lines are in vogue today. This transition from a flower bed to a lawn of lawn grass will ensure the use of low-growing flowers as curbs. They will beautifully outline the garden paths. But what kind of flowers to choose so that they do not lose their decorative effect for a long time and decorate the garden for the whole summer?
Delicate Aroma Of Hyacinth
Calling the flower "Hyacinth", which in translation from Greek into Russian sounds like "Flower of Rains", the Greeks themselves called it "Flower of Sorrow", not forgetting the story of the beautiful son of the king of Sparta named Hyacinth. It was his drops of blood that the god Apollo, saddened by the death of a handsome young man, turned into fragrant flowers in order to defeat death by human memory
Delicate Oleander: Proper Care
Outdoors, oleander is a fairly large bush with lush and large inflorescences, the color of which is of a different nature. In the southern regions of the country, experienced summer residents grow oleander in their backyards and gardens
Delicate Swimsuit
The bather adorns river valleys, meadows and forest glades with gentle flowering. Scandinavian and old Germanic legends say that this wonderful plant was a favorite flower of funny trolls. There is a swimsuit growing in wet meadows, near water bodies and in picturesque highlands, mainly in the Northern Hemisphere, as well as in areas with a temperate and cold climate
