It is required to add to the water exactly as many chlorine tablets as recommended by the manufacturer of the preparation for a certain volume of the pool.
A little practical advice: after a batch of chlorine tablets is thrown into the water, you should turn on the pool filtration system for 1-2 hours, and after that you can swim in it.
What should be the parameters of the water in the summer cottage?
Together with the equipment for the pool and its installation materials, you should purchase a device that measures the parameters of the water in the pool. The device will need to be used from time to time in order to monitor the state of the water, its acid-base balance.
This tester is sold together with tablets that create a chemical reaction of water. A batch of pool water is drawn into the tester for analysis. One of the tablets is placed in the water. When dyeing water in a certain color, you need to compare it with the shades on the tester's scale. To which color on the scale it will be closest - those indicated indicators and the water in the pool has.
The balance of alkali and acid in a summer cottage outdoor pool should show a level in the range of 7, 0-7, 6. Is the water balance below this level? This means that the water is closer to acidic, which means it will irritate the skin of people bathing in it, and corrode the surface of the pool.
If it is higher than this indicator, then the water is more alkaline. In such a bacteria multiply too quickly, flowering appears. To regulate the acid-base level of the water in the pool, you need to purchase special chemical reagents that can put the water in order.
Swimming pool filtration systems
Alas, such systems are indispensable. And when buying a pool or equipment for it, you will have to fork out for filtration systems for water. The simplest filtration of pools is carried out by the method of elementary catching of debris from the surface of the water with a net. But this is only an aid that will prolong the purity of the water.
A more serious pool filtration system is needed so that its bathing water is completely safe. For this, filters with replaceable cartridges are connected to the pool. From time to time you need to run water through them. This should be done every day for 1-2 hours. And don't forget to change the cartridges as they get dirty.
There are also filtration systems equipped with a pump, filters and a timer. Such systems work regardless of whether the owners turned them on or forgot to do it. That is, even in the absence of the owners at the dacha for a long time, such systems will automatically clean and disinfect water.
Additional recommendations
Chlorine tablets are dipped into pools in soluble containers. Or in containers with holes. It is not recommended to throw the tablets “naked” into the pool, as their effect can destroy the coating on the pool and cause it to corrode.
Filtration system cartridges, if there are no other instructions from the manufacturers, it is advisable to replace them once a month, at least.
