The stem of this plant will for the most part be straight and simple, in addition to this, it can be branched from the base. The leaves of the large-flowered eagle will be twice or thrice feathery. The umbrellas of this plant are on the peduncles, they will be about five centimeters in diameter, they will be endowed with about five to ten short-haired rays located on the inner side. The umbrellas will be endowed with two or four pistillate and numerous staminate flowers. The petals of the large-flowered eagle are painted in white tones, sometimes they can be endowed with a purple and reddish tint. The outer petals will be quite enlarged, their length is equal to eight to thirteen millimeters, which makes them almost ten times longer than all the others. The fruits of the large-flowered eagle are ovoid, their width is about five millimeters and their length is ten millimeters.

The flowering of this plant occurs in the period from June to the month of July. In natural conditions, the large-flowered eagle is found in the Caucasus and Crimea. For growth, this plant prefers forest edges, thickets of shrubs, sparse oak forests, borders, roadsides and fallow lands.

It should be noted that this plant is quite often used as a filling plant both for various flowers and to imitate a wild-growing meadow. In addition, large-flowered eagle is also used in bouquets: such a bouquet will be pretty well preserved in the cut for about seven to ten days. This plant is thermophilic and needs to grow in an open, sunny place for normal development. Subject to the conditions necessary for the normal development of this plant, the large-flowered eagle will turn out to be a very beautiful plant.

Orlaya large-flowered is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the leaves of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable healing properties should be explained by the content of polyacetylene compounds in the roots of this plant, while the flowers will contain flavonoids, the fruit contains fatty oil, essential oil, quercetin and petroselinic acid.

As a diuretic, it is recommended to use the following healing agent based on this plant: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take three tablespoons of dry crushed leaves of large-flowered orlaya per three hundred milliliters of water. It is recommended to boil the resulting healing mixture over a fairly low heat for about three to four minutes. Then such a medicinal mixture based on this plant should be left to infuse for about one hour, after which such a mixture should be very thoroughly filtered. Take such a healing agent based on large-flowered eagle three times a day before the start of a meal, one third of a glass.
