The flowers are in the amount of two pieces, they can be either light blue or purple in color. Such flowers are very fragrant, and the pedicels are rather short in length. The fruit of the iris thin-leaved is an oval box, it will be round-triangular, its length will be no more than four millimeters. The fruit of this plant is endowed with a short spout. The seeds will be kubarchaty, they are endowed with a wrinkled shell, and such seeds are painted in black-brown tones.
The flowering of iris is thin-leaved in the period from April to May. For growth, this plant prefers sand, sandy river banks and desert steppes. In natural conditions, this plant can be found on the territory of the European part of Russia in the Lower Volga region, in Central Asia, in the Daursky region of Eastern Siberia, as well as in the Verkhnetobolsk region of Western Siberia. As for the general distribution, the fine-leaved iris can be found in China and Mongolia.

Iris thin-leaved is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the seeds and root of this plant. As for traditional medicine, a decoction is widespread here, which is prepared from the roots of this plant. Such a decoction should be prepared from thirty to sixty grams of roots: such a remedy is considered effective for menorrhagia and for disturbing the fetus in the womb. Also widespread is a decoction of the seeds of iris fine-leaved. Such a decoction is prepared from three to nine grams of seeds and is used for nosebleeds, bloody vomiting, acute epidemic hepatitis, hernia, difficulty urinating, bone tuberculosis and uterine bleeding.
As for external use, this is how they use powdered iris seeds. Such seeds are used in the form of a powder for various external bleeding, which were caused by damage to soft tissues.
In case of bloody vomiting, difficult urination, uterine and nosebleeds, it is recommended to use the following remedy: for the preparation of such a remedy based on fine-leaved iris, eight grams of seeds per two hundred milliliters of water are taken. The resulting mixture should be boiled in a water bath for fifteen minutes, and then strain very thoroughly and add boiled water up to the original volume. Take the resulting remedy based on this plant in half a glass three to four times a day before eating, slowly and in small sips.
