Description of marsh saxifrage
The marsh saxifrage is a perennial herb, the height of which will fluctuate between ten and forty centimeters. The leaves of the marsh saxifrage are colored in light green tones, they are whole-edged and lanceolate, their length is one to three centimeters, and the width will be about three to five millimeters. Such leaves of this plant will be bare, and the lower leaves taper into a rather long stalk, the upper leaves will be sessile, narrower and smaller. At the top of the stem there are about one to four flowers, the petals of the marsh saxifrage are painted in bright yellow tones, and sometimes they can be endowed with orange dots. Such petals will be elliptical in shape, their length will be eight to twelve millimeters, and their width will be three to three and a half millimeters. The boll of marsh saxifrage is oblong-oval in shape, and its length will be one centimeter.
The flowering of marsh saxifrage occurs in the period from August to September. Under natural conditions, this plant is ubiquitous in Russia, as well as in the Caucasus, Belarus, Ukraine and Central Asia. For growth, the plant prefers a place along rivers and streams, damp meadows, swamps and moss-lichen tundra. It should be noted that the marsh saxifrage seems to be a very valuable melliferous plant.
Description of the medicinal properties of marsh saxifrage
The marsh saxifrage is endowed with very valuable medicinal properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the roots, seeds and grass of this plant. Grass includes flowers, leaves and stems.
The herb of this plant contains tannins. A decoction of the roots and seeds of marsh saxifrage is recommended to be used locally for a variety of skin diseases. A decoction of the herb of this plant is recommended to be used to stimulate regulation. Both infusion and tincture of the herb should be used for heart disease and gastrointestinal tract disorders, and in addition, also as a diuretic. Place the same infusion and tincture should be used as a pain reliever.
In the form of lotions for acne and dermatitis, the following remedy should be used: for the preparation of such a remedy, it is recommended to take one tablespoon of crushed roots or one teaspoon of the seeds of this plant in one glass of water. The resulting mixture should be boiled over a fairly low heat for four to five minutes, and then this mixture is left to infuse for one hour, after which this mixture should be very thoroughly filtered.
If your period is delayed, it is recommended to use the following very effective remedy based on marsh saxifrage: for the preparation of such a remedy, you should take one tablespoon of chopped grass in one glass of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be boiled for three to four minutes, then such a mixture is left to infuse for an hour, after which the mixture based on this plant should be very thoroughly filtered. Such a remedy is taken on the basis of marsh saxifrage in two tablespoons three times a day.
