When the mass hardens, cubes 4 cm high are cut from it. 10 seeds are placed on each such cube and covered with a 1-centimeter layer of peat or earth.
When shoots become visible on the cubes, the seedlings are placed in a place well-lit by the sun and kept at a temperature of about + 16 … + 18 ° С. Watering is carried out with a moderate amount of water. Planting chives along with a cube is carried out about a month after sowing. When transferred to a garden bed, an interval of 5-6 cm between plants is observed.
