From 23 to 25 August, Pavilion No. 75 of VDNKh will host the XXIV International Exhibition of Flowers, Plants, Equipment and Materials for Ornamental Gardening and Flower Business Flowers-2017
A grandiose exposition, a rich program of business events, as well as dynamic shows from famous florists - all this will traditionally await guests of the professional holiday at VDNKh - representatives of flower retail, event agencies, florists, landscape designers and architects, experts, representatives of academia and government agencies.
For more than 20 years of existence, the exhibition "Flowers / Flowers" has established itself as an effective platform for the development of the industry of plant growing, floriculture and landscape design in Russia. Here new trends are born, modern technologies are demonstrated and topical issues in the development of the domestic "green" sector are discussed. The project has been awarded international and domestic quality marks UFI and RUEF and is traditionally carried out under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with the assistance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
In the exhibition
"Flowers / Flowers-2017" presentation of over 250 companies from 10 countries is planned. On an area of 11,000 sq. m will feature the most commercially interesting varieties of cut flowers, ornamental trees and shrubs, accessories for floristry, goods for garden construction and landscape design, greenhouse equipment, as well as planting materials, seeds and fertilizers for flowers and green plants.
The central place at the exhibition will be occupied by large stands of garden centers and nurseries from Russia and foreign countries - Germany, France, Denmark. The exposition will be complemented by the most colorful section - cut flowers from all over the world, brought by the manufacturing and exporting companies of Colombia, Ecuador, Iran, Holland and other countries.
In 2017, the business program of the exhibition will also expand significantly. A number of events of various formats are traditionally planned for industry specialists - floristic shows, round tables and lectures on current topics of the development of the flower industry, innovative methods of growing flowers and ornamental plants, as well as master classes and presentations of new selection from leading world manufacturers. For the first time, there will be a presentation "World Trends in the Flower Industry - 2018" from the leading expert from Holland - Sandra Konings, where all those interested will be able to get professional answers to their questions.
