Yesterday your child was very little, but today he goes to kindergarten. How quickly time flies ?! Kindergarten can rightfully be called the first experience of socialization of a child. During this period, your baby makes first friends, his communication and creative abilities are revealed
Despite the many positive aspects, kindergarten can be stressful for many toddlers. First of all, this is typical for shy children who find it difficult to adapt to a new space, but open, cheerful children may also show signs of anxiety. What can cause stress?
1. Chatting with new people. Even for adults, a new team is sometimes a whole test, what can we say about a child, when everything is new to him.
2. Sleep during the day when you want to play. Sleep in the afternoon is a real paradise for adults, and a real nightmare for babies. How can you fall asleep when there are so many interesting things around?
3. Not "mommy's food." From birth, mother instills in each baby a special food culture, taking into account the benefits and preferences of the child. Therefore, when the baby is in kindergarten, many dishes may seem simply tasteless to him, because they are not "like mom's." As a result, the child begins to refuse to eat, which can lead to stomach and intestinal problems.
And where there is stress, there are its consequences. It can be expressed in the form of whims, bad mood, tears, or, even worse, affect the health of the baby. For example, in the form of constipation. According to statistics, constipation occurs in 10–25% of children and appears 3 times more often in preschool children [1]. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to identify constipation in a baby in time. To always be on the alert, mothers will be helped by knowing a number of symptoms that may indicate constipation [1]:
1. The child walks less often 3 times a week
2. Tolerate and keep silent. This may be due to psychological stiffness.
3. Complains that it hurts to go to the toilet or does not work
If your child regularly goes to the toilet, then there is no cause for concern. It is important to remember that the physiology of each person is individual, but there are average indicators that help to understand whether there is constipation or not.
How often does a child have to go to the toilet in large quantities, depending on the age?[1]
When your baby's problem of constipation is still obvious, then you need to start solving it. The process of treatment itself can be presented in the form of an entertaining game with the child, when he will also be involved in the process. Start by keeping a “chair diary,” which will record “baby's progress” daily, which you can also include with funny pictures.
When treating constipation, it is very important to increase the amount of fluids your child needs to drink during the day. Children under the age of 1 year should drink at least 100 ml of water per day. Since the child is constantly growing and gaining weight, in the future, the amount of water also needs to be increased.
For convenience, use the following formula [1]:
100 ml (volume of water for children under 1 year old) + 50 ml per kg for body weight over 10 kg
For example, with a weight of 12 kg: 100 ml + 2_50 ml, where 2 is the number of years of the child. A child weighing 20 kg should drink water:
100 ml + 50_10 = 600 ml
For children weighing over 20 kg, the following formula is proposed to calculate the water requirement:
600 ml (water requirement for a child weighing 20 kg) + 20 ml for each kg with a body weight over 20 kg.
If constipation is prolonged, it is better to seek help from laxatives. Pediatricians prefer oral laxatives with an osmotic effect (drawing water into the intestine) [1].
One of the drugs in this group is Forlax. What are the features of its action?
1.
Forlax possesses a physiological principle of action [2]. This means that it helps the child cope with constipation exactly as his own intestines would under ideal conditions. The active substance retains water molecules, conducts them through the gastrointestinal tract and delivers to the place of accumulation of too dehydrated feces. The water delivered by the drug softens the intestinal contents and increases its volume. After that, the child's intestines do all the work themselves.
2.
Forlax has the ability to teach the intestines of the baby. It allows the intestines to literally "learn" to work properly without the need for constant laxatives. As a result, the positive effect of using the drug can persist in children for up to 6 months, depending on the duration of administration [3]!
3.
Forlax - long-term product for optimal effect. Its active ingredient (macrogol) is not absorbed into the bloodstream and does not have an irritating (and even more so stimulating) effect on the intestinal walls of the baby. Children can take it for a long time - up to 3 months. [4]
4.
Forlax has a simple and understandable regimen, in which it is difficult to make a mistake, since the dosages are calculated in advance by specialists for a child of any age, starting from 6 months. [4]
Now, faced with the problem of constipation in your child, you will not be intimidated, but start treatment in time, in which modern laxatives such as Forlax can help your child.

The Imperial Hazel Grouse: Why The Handsome Man Does Not Bloom?
The imperial hazel grouse or the royal crown is one of the most beautiful and beloved plants by flower growers. This perennial is appreciated not only for its exquisite flowering, but also for the fact that it is one of the first to dissolve its bright large petals in the spring. But to the chagrin of flower growers, not every royal crown blooms after planting. What prevents the plant from showing
