The basis of such brushcutters is a gasoline internal combustion engine. They are ideal for areas with no electricity, and they will not interfere with wet foliage or drizzling rain.

As for the disadvantages of such a tool, then these, perhaps, include a rather high cost and considerable weight. Moreover, this equipment will require competent maintenance.

The simplest type of tool at a relatively low price and requiring minimal maintenance. Externally, mechanical hedge trimmers look like garden shears equipped with long arms. It is thanks to the impressive size of the handles that a shoulder is created, which significantly increases the applied force in the trim points.
