Owners of country houses can arrange an unusual New Year's Eve for themselves by migrating to their country estates for a vacation. And to remember the holiday, you should try to withstand the New Year's interior decoration in a rustic style. An additional plus in such a solution is that you practically will not have to spend money on it

Add snow and shine

The rustic style can be maintained in a city apartment as well. But for the New Year's interior to shine in a new way, it is not necessary to buy new toys and other decorations. You can get by with just two purchases: spray cans with artificial snow and gold enamel.

With the help of artificial snow, the most ordinary dry twigs from the dacha or the nearest park, as if by magic, turn into elegant decor items. It is enough to spray them from a spray can and put them in any vases. Glass jars and bottles tied with thin bright tin scarves can also serve as a container. And the twigs themselves are then decorated with Christmas decorations.

Golden enamel, like the touch of King Midas, turns the most ordinary things into exquisite Christmas tree decorations. Try to paint decorative physalis lanterns with it, cones found in the forest, dry hydrangea inflorescences, viburnum, rowan, hawthorn brushes - all this will serve as bright Christmas tree decorations, and you can be sure that no one else will have such! Gold enamel will turn even ordinary newspaper sheets into a bright garland. To do this, the paper is cut in the form of triangles and flags, hooked onto a string, and then you can start painting.

In order not to get dirty when spraying decorative elements with enamel and artificial snow, the objects that are painted are placed in a spacious box with high walls and processed in it.

Magic lights

Not always New Year's Eve pleases with abundant snowfall. But you can arrange your own snowy cozy corner at home. To do this, you will need emptied cans from under the winter blanks. They will serve as excellent candlesticks. A third of the jar is filled with salt - this will be your improvised decorative snow and at the same time the foundation in which the candles will stand. The thicker and more stable the candles, the less salt you can add.

After that, they begin to decorate the "candlestick" itself. The bank can be “girded” with lace. But if such delicate fabrics are in short supply in the country, they also use materials that are more familiar on the personal plot. Burlap and rope will do. They can wrap the neck of the container, and attach spruce branches and cones, rowan fruits on top.

Banks can be taken of any diameter - both three-liter and miniature mayonnaise. Wide glasses are also fine. Sand or fine grains are also used instead of salt. When candles are lit, the neck of the jar is not tied or covered with anything. And to install such candlesticks, you can build a small platform of firewood and logs. If you light such lamps in several corners, they will perfectly replace modern electric garlands.

The smell of the new year

In addition to the smell of pine needles, many associate with the New Year's holidays the aroma of citrus fruits - oranges, and especially tangerines. This magical scent can be enhanced by making a pomander Christmas decoration from citrus fruits. To do this, you need a spice like cloves. They pierce the peel with seeds and deeply plant the stem of the carnation inside the fruit so that only the cap sticks out. To make such flavors look festively elegant, any unpretentious pattern can be laid out with a carnation on the peel.

Mandarins can also act as Christmas tree decorations. You can also use a stud to equip them with eyelets for attaching to a branch. It is tied to a thread, and then a needle is pulled through the tangerine, making an injection in the bottom and stretching it through the core. And the carnation as a knot will be fixed on the opposite side. Thus, the spice as an anchor will hold the loop.
