In early April, my story about the transformation at my sister's site was published. Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to re-visit this fertile place. I want to share with you my new impressions of what I saw

It has been 2 years since my last visit to the site. During this time, much has changed for the better. Roses, clematis, maiden grapes grew abundantly near the gazebo. New plants appeared: panicle hydrangea, jasmine with large peduncles, rejuvenated bizarre forms, conifers. The number of clematis varieties has increased. All this organically blended into the overall picture of the courtyard and the front garden near the house.

Life does not stand still. Individual plants change their place of residence over time. The sister carefully monitors her pets. If he notices that the plants are not comfortable in this place, then he looks for more favorable conditions for them. They, in turn, thank her with abundant flowering.

The front garden greeted me with large inflorescences of clematis. Climbing up the fence grid, they try to occupy all the space provided to them. So that each individual "star" has enough sunlight. Several curtains with lilies are already preparing to dissolve their buds.

Most of all, when I entered, I was struck by the flowering of a climbing rose of the Flamentants variety. An impressive sight! I have never seen such a number of buds and loose inflorescences. A cascade of bright crimson terry "caps" is rapidly going up the support. The leaves are practically invisible. This variety blooms 1 time per summer, so it tries to show itself in all its glory.

Near the gazebo is a climbing rose bush of the Gloria Day Climing variety. Even at a great distance from it, a wonderful aroma is felt. Large yellow double inflorescences with a pale pink dusting along the edge look beautiful against the background of the green walls of the canopy. It is characterized by re-flowering at the end of summer. Therefore, there are fewer buds here than on the previous specimen.

The overgrown shoots of stonecrop creeping practically covered the stones on the alpine hill. At times they have to be shortened to restrict growth.

Bright blue lobelia looks original in old oak barrels. It takes up the entire volume of the capacity provided to it.

A walk in the garden surprised me with the huge size of the plants. The soils are clayey. At first glance, they seem to be poor in structure. In reality, the zucchini bush occupies a volume of 1 square meter along with the leaves. The flowers look like real gramophones against the background of a dark shade of greenery. The owner of the site does not use fertilizers. Fertility was created by the previous inhabitants of the house. Judging by the large number of outbuildings, they kept many animals, brought rotted manure to the beds.

To the right of the vegetable plantings on a small slope is a real strawberry field. Bright red berries beckon to taste them.

I heard from many gardeners the opinion that homemade strawberries are sour and not tasty, unlike forest ones. I always tell such opponents that you need to pick it when the berry is fully ripe. The red fruits are not ready to be harvested. You should wait for an increase in their volume. Poured strawberries, slightly soft, in no way inferior in taste and aroma to the forest sister.

The next day at 5 o'clock in the morning I went to a meeting with fragrant berries. At this time, even mosquitoes hid somewhere. My collection in 2 hours was 6 liters. Murzik the cat accompanied me on a walk. As the owner, he accompanied me to the beds. Then he sat down near a heap with branches, obviously expecting the appearance of prey (mice).

There is a small bench at the bottom of the garden under the trees. In hot weather, you can sit on it, take a break from work, admiring the results of your labor. Especially beautiful during the flowering of apple, pear, cherry.

How good it is here! Silence, peace, quiet measured rural life. This is what a city dweller with a fast paced metropolitan area sometimes lacks. Often in recent years, people from big cities have acquired plots in villages. To relax at the dacha from the everyday hustle and bustle on weekends.

It's time to leave little Eden with its hospitable hosts, hoping to return to this paradise again!
