I think many people remember from school a poem by Mikhail Isakovsky "Cherry", in which the old man decided to plant a cherry by the road so that any traveler could rest in the shade of its crown and taste the juicy berries, remembering it with gratitude. And, if they do not remember, then it does not matter either. The main thing is that the cherry will grow and delight people. So the spouses from Thailand, having bought land, decided to give people an amazing park full of plant wonders

A bit of history

The Thai people live according to the calendar, the countdown of years according to which is conducted from the day of Buddha's departure to a better world. And this event happened 543 years before the birth of Christ.

So, in 2497 (which corresponds to 1954 A. D.) husband and wife, Pisit and Nong Nooch Tansacha, bought 600 acres of land, planning to plant fruit trees there.

To imagine the size of such a garden, Russian summer residents, owners of 6 acres of land, will have to strain their imagination well, since they will have to imagine their site, enlarged 4 thousand times. Now imagine how much human labor had to be put into this land to turn it into a blossoming and fruitful garden.

Of course, the couple were not going to work there together. They were wealthy people, and therefore hired workers had to work on the land. Since there was enough fruit in Thailand without their garden, they decided to arrange a park, collecting in it a collection of palm trees growing all over the planet, so that tourists who come to the country can admire the exotic park. Naturally, the entrance to the park is on a paid basis. After all, this is not a lonely cherry on the road, but a huge complex, which employs a large number of people who want to receive a salary for their work. Well, something remains for the Tansach family.

Appetite comes with eating

Over time, the owners of the land further increased the area of their possessions, and the park turned into a real plant kingdom full of wonders. Among them, the most notable are:

* Blue garden - originally conceived palm garden. It contains a unique number of palms of different types, which is not found anywhere else on the planet. All kinds of ferns also grow here.

* Orchid garden - such a variety of bright colors and large orchid flowers against the background of green fleshy leaves and hanging roots is impressive and delightful. Although the climate is warm, orchids grow under the protection of a structure of metal and glass or plastic that rescues plants, for example, during the rainy season.

* French park - a combination of topiary art with flower beds, strict geometric lines, gilded Buddhist temples, perfectly visible from the height of the viewing platforms. An interesting detail - there is one monk for 170 ordinary Thais, so there are Buddhist temples at every step, including in the park.

* Elephant farm - elephants in Thailand are in high esteem. They help people in their work, ride tourists on their powerful backs, participate in the theatrical national colorful show, as well as in the elephant show. For this they are well fed, looked after, and aged elephants are paid a pension from the state treasury so that they can live the rest of their lives with dignity.

* Garden of clay pots - so that the plants are not bored, they alternate with clay pots, from which all kinds of arches, figures, compositions are built. Pots of various sizes and shapes, empty and filled with flowering plants.

* Sculpture gardens - artificial animals, insects, butterflies, birds …

* Car park - the collection of the son of Nong Nooch, no less colorful spectacle.

And there are many more interesting and beautiful things that are simply impossible to accommodate in one day of the excursion. You can come here every day for an extended period to enjoy all the splendor created by human hands.

Park "Nong Nooch" is a good memory of the mistress who left our world in 2015, leaving people living on Earth with a small green Paradise.
