Basic principles of creating a rutaria

Despite this, it should still capture a single concept and a certain integrity, as well as compatibility with other elements of the landscape as a whole.
Types of rutaria
There are three types of rutaria.
Fairy (other names: decorative or fantasy, as well as cartoon). In this creation, the main emphasis is on all kinds of crafts from wooden elements. As for living vegetation, in this case it is assigned the role of a kind of background for the overall picture. Such rutaria are usually erected in accordance with some pre-selected scenario, but in any case they should organically fit into the main style of the landscape.
Natural (the second name is compositional). The most frequently constructed type of such an amazing object is a mixture of living nature with inanimate: luxurious ornamental plants carefully selected to create a bizarre composition give a special flavor to dead old roots. Material for the construction of rutaria
As a starting material, old roots of trees and shrubs, decayed parts of tree trunks, various logs, fancy driftwood, small pebbles, pebbles, bark, living vegetation, pieces of lawn, all kinds of mosses, small wild bushes are suitable. In order to last as long as possible, such material must always be of high quality. It is also worth paying attention to the decorativeness of the selected elements.
Composition construction
All the material collected to create a wonderful creation must be cleaned of dust, go through it with a broom or a brush. You may need to wash some parts of it. After that, all the material is thoroughly treated with boiling water and, having examined it for the presence of all kinds of insects, if any are found, they are removed if possible. Further, the material is treated with an antiseptic in several passes - it is best to use a special sprayer for this, which makes it possible for the composition to get into the most inaccessible places. If this is possible, it is not bad to additionally carry out processing with special impregnations and other protective agents. Varnishing and painting of the material is allowed, but one should not forget that then it will noticeably lose its naturalness and naturalness.
The site for the placement of the future composition is prepared by planting lawn grass and thereby forming an area for the future rutaria. Then the main, largest tree root is placed in a shallow hole. At the same time, the cut of its trunk should look up, and the cut roots - down. The base of the main root is lightly dug in and stoned, and the top is cut out and filled with earth. It is necessary to plant curly flowers in this land, which can later be easily let down along the branches of the root. Around the main root, the roots of the shrubs are placed with the roots up and the trunks down, laying out small pebbles near their bases. Amusing driftwood is laid out along the perimeter of the entire rutaria, and the fence is planted with various undersized and very bright flowers (it is advisable to opt for annuals).
