About seedlings

Sunberry seeds are planted for the preparation of high-quality and strong seedlings. This process occurs at the end of winter or early spring. Before the procedure, you should prepare the seeds by soaking them for twenty minutes in a manganese solution. Then the planting material is washed with running water. Also, the seeds will need to be helped to germinate.

Each seed should be cut in the growing zone. Then they are placed in a humid environment for several days. It is advisable to simply wrap the seeds in wet gauze or rag. Seeds are planted in the prepared soil without deepening much.

The optimum planting depth is half a centimeter. It is important to provide reliable drainage before doing this. Otherwise, rotting can be observed in the planting material. You can plant sunberries in boxes with tomatoes or peppers.

Seedlings grow excellently at room temperature. It is important for the gardener not to forget to regularly, but not very often, water the seedlings. The first shoots form approximately three months after planting. Then they can be dived into separate containers. It is required to place seedlings in containers in a warm and bright place.

Growing in a summer cottage

They planted a sunberry garden after the formation of seven leaves, when the threat of night or morning frosts has passed. Most often this period falls on May-June. A distance of seven tens of centimeters is maintained between the specimens. During the development of the plant, you need to feed it with a mullein a couple of times. Before the cold weather, you will need to pluck stepchildren from the sunberry in order to slow down flowering and activate fruiting.
