Currently, a new trend is relevant in landscape design, or rather, the creation of seasonal flower beds. In general, the reproduction of such flower beds, ridges, rock gardens and garden corners does not cause any particular difficulties, you just need to choose the right plants that are distinguished by abundant flowering and high decorativeness at certain times of the year. Among the existing seasonal flower beds, it is the automnals that are very popular, because they are able to save their owners and others from the autumn blues, thanks to bright and rich colors

Automnaliy, or a garden of autumn flowers (from the English autumn - autumn) is a common style of decorating flower beds, the emphasis is on plants that delight the eye with the splendor of shades (golden, purple, burgundy, yellow, bronze, red and fiery orange) in the autumn.

Many people notice that with the onset of autumn, gardens become boring and inconspicuous, they lose their attractiveness and bring sadness. Most plants fade and become faded, and those flowers that could become a real decoration of flower beds, as a rule, grow in a single copy on an already withered flower bed.

In fact, you can rejoice and admire the beauty of plants in autumn, because today there is a huge selection of a wide variety of plants, a distinctive feature of which is the late flowering period. Compositions made from such plants are considered to be automalies, or gardens of autumn flowers.

Features of the design of automatic data

Most often, auto-logs are placed not far from the house, or rather at the porch and windows, as well as along garden paths and paths that lead to the front entrance at a distance of 2-4 m from them. Often they form automalities near water bodies and under the openwork crowns of trees and tall shrubs. Flowering and ornamental plants are planted in the form of groups asymmetrically, without forming clear geometric patterns. However, other solutions for auto-payments are not prohibited, for example, in the form of traditional rock gardens, flower beds and rabatki.

Flower beds are formed taking into account two important points. First, the plants are arranged taking into account the height of the plants: stunted, creeping and soil-blooming forms are planted in the foreground, medium-sized plants follow, and tall plants in the background. Accounting for color transitions is also important. Color transitions can be both smooth and contrasting. The contrast of color shades is necessary in order to emphasize the saturation and brightness of each of them. A sharp change in color is very interesting in landscape design. A smooth transition is a gradual change of colors, for example, starting with red and orange, continuing with yellow and green, and ending with cyan, blue and purple. Monochromatic autogenesis is also relevant; when creating such flower beds, plants of the same shade are used.

Selection of plants for autogenous

The current variety of late flowering plants is enormous. Each of them deserves to take a leading position in the auto business. And the best part is that, in addition to flowering and ornamental plants, the use of ornamental and fruit trees and shrubs is encouraged in automalies, the foliage of which acquires a bright and noteworthy color in the fall.

Korean chrysanthemums are an excellent option for creating autumn flower beds. These plants are planted in small groups in open, sunny areas protected from cold winds. Korean chrysanthemums come in a variety of shapes and colors. New England asters can become indispensable "inhabitants" of auto-malia, with which geleniums are in perfect harmony, which are also planted in groups.

Low-growing marigolds with double flowers of golden-purple color look great in autumn flower beds. Also, the following plants are suitable for the creation of autochronicles: periwinkle, crocus, sedum, rudbeckia, buzulnik, tenacious, bush alpine aster, lavatera, armeria, badan, zinnia, mignonette, verbena, lobelia, godetia, snapdragon, mallow, dahlia, grassland, dolphin, rose, phlox, clematis, etc.

Ornamental shrubs, for example, panicle hydrangea, will complement and add zest to the automnalia. This plant retains its decorative effect for a long time. The cotoneaster, as well as euonymus and mountain ash will decorate the garden of autumn flowers with its lush clusters of orange berries. The hawthorn, rose hips, viburnum and other frost-resistant shrubs will harmoniously fit into the automnalia.
