It is impossible to deny that the computer monitor does not affect the eyes. This is obvious not only for doctors, but also for those who spend a lot of time at the computer. But what if work or study is connected with a long pastime in front of the monitor? Is it possible to protect the eyes in such cases?
Often all attempts to protect the eyes with the help of special glasses or the purchase of modern monitors, as well as the use of special drops, end up with the fact that vision is still reduced, and there is a need for glasses. Of course, this does not happen overnight.
If you spend many hours at a computer in a row, your eyes get very tired, start to watery, and turn red. These are signs that they have undergone too much stress or simply overworked. This phenomenon causes not only a long amount of time spent at the computer, but also the moment that the image on the monitor consists of flickering dots. They are invisible to the ordinary look, but at the same time they tire and irritate the eyes.
Is it possible to protect the organs of vision from the effects of the monitor? Yes, despite all the negative influence of the computer on the eyes, many manage to preserve their eyesight. If the eye apparatus is in good condition, it is not so easy to disable it, even with the help of heavy loads. It remains only to bring it back to normal, to strengthen it in all possible ways - this will be the best way to save vision from the influence of a computer.
Precautionary measures
First, you need to take all the precautions to make it as easy as possible for your eyes. A good, high-quality monitor, its correct setting in relation to light and high-quality software will also come in handy here.
Lack of contrasts
It is also necessary to take into account such a moment as sharp contrasts. The eyes do not like them very much. The bright light of the monitor in a dark room irritates them, so it is not recommended to use the computer in complete darkness, it is better to turn on additional lighting in the room when working.
Breaks
It is recommended that you take short breaks for your eyes when working at the computer for a long time. Just 10-15 minutes every 2-3 hours can do more for the eyes than special drops or glasses in a mesh.
Useful gymnastics
In these minutes, it is best to do simple gymnastics for the eyes: movements of the gaze horizontally, while the head remains motionless, circular movements of the eyes, or draw them an infinity sign - a horizontal eight. All exercises are performed at least 5-6 times. This is how the eye muscles are trained, the blood flow to the eyes and its outflow increase.
Proper nutrition
Don't forget about nourishing your eyes to improve your vision. Everyone knows that carrots and blueberries, thanks to the mineral complexes they contain, can, if not improve vision, then prevent it from getting worse. Foods containing Omega-3 fatty acids make blood vessels stronger and more elastic and thus provide the eyes with good nutrition. Similar products include ocean fish and seafood. Cod liver is especially useful, but regular fish oil introduced into the diet will cope with the task just as well.
If, nevertheless, visual acuity begins to deteriorate, it is necessary to consult a doctor in a timely manner. In parallel, you can use unconventional ways to improve vision, which are proposed by M. Norbekov, G. Bates, A. Fedorov. All of these vision-enhancing techniques have been tried and tested with good results, but require regular exercise.
