In order not to waste energy on ennobling the territory, plant unpretentious garden flowers. I offer an overview of perennials that grow without much care and bloom for a long time
Periwinkle
A flowering, perennial, evergreen periwinkle plant forms spectacular clumps of bright greenery, grows quickly and takes root on its own. Refers to ground cover, if desired, it is easily formed into a bush 50-60 cm high. It begins to bloom simultaneously with tulips and continues to form buds throughout the summer.
Periwinkle, or "magic violet", refers to a group of plants that are more difficult to plant than to exterminate. Garden varieties are divided into groups:
β’ small (up to 35 cm high, creeping);
β’ pubescent (does not tolerate frost, hygrophilous);
β’ pink (erect stems up to 60 cm);
β’ herbaceous (thermophilic, at -20 can freeze out, has varieties with pointed and round leaves);
β’ large (looks like a bush, sheds foliage for the winter).
Periwinkle
Varieties differ in color, doubleness of buds. They differ in the size and shape of the leaves, color from dark green to light green with white feathery blotches. The most unpretentious subspecies of periwinkle is small. It blooms with lavender, blue flowers from May to early autumn, grows well in the sun and in the shade.
Aquilegia
Unlike many perennials, aquilegia (catchment) has decorative foliage, blooms for a long time (from late May to August). The buds bloom in the form of exotic bells of different shades (yellow, pink, lilac, purple, cream). At the end of summer, the foliage changes color, becoming lilac or purple, which makes the plant even more attractive. The height of the bushes depends on the variety and ranges from 40-80 cm.
The plant, thanks to its powerful taproot, independently obtains moisture and nutrition, so it does not need watering or feeding. The catchment grows well in shade and in open areas, but prefers light drained soils. Propagated by self-seeding and root division.

Arabis
The plant belongs to the ground cover species, as it has creeping stems 20-30 cm long. It grows rapidly, forming dense green curtain cushions the next year after planting. Arabis is used to decorate any areas in the garden, ideal for rock gardens, borders. Loves light soils, sunny places, will bloom in partial shade.
Arabis, among perennials, has no equal in terms of flowering duration, bud formation is not completed until autumn frosts. The color of the inflorescences depends on the variety: pink, white, lilac, purple, yellow. To prolong flowering, you need to do a haircut periodically.

Loosestrife
To decorate flower beds, mixborders, an upright loosestrife is used. It grows in the form of a herbaceous bush up to 80 cm high. It develops well in the sun and in partial shade, adapts to any soil, is not affected by diseases, does not freeze, actively grows with basal shoots.
In June, abundant flowering begins in the form of spectacular yellow buds, collected in spike-shaped inflorescences at the tops of leafy shoots. Duration of flowering 3-4 weeks. For planting in deep shade and in damp places, you can use meadow or monet loosestrife.

Astilba
A beautiful perennial growing in the form of a herbaceous bush. It has a rounded shape with a height of 40-60 cm and consists of carved foliage. It blooms from June to July with lush inflorescences-panicles of red, white, lilac. The height of the peduncles can reach 120 cm.
Astilba does not freeze, grows well in wet areas. Many varieties respond adequately to the quality of lighting, soil and are planted anywhere.
Buzulnik / Ligularia
Buzulnik
Of the many types of buzulnik, the most unpretentious and spectacular is the Toothed Ligularia. Grows in the form of a bush with powerful glossy leaves of purple hues. The leaf plates are held on tall petioles emerging from the root rosette.
Buzulnik blooms from mid-June to mid-August. Inflorescences-baskets are located on a tubular peduncle. Buds 5-13 cm in light red, orange or bright yellow. The height of the bush with inflorescences is from 0, 6 to 1, 3 meters.
Buzulnik is an ideal plant for lazy designers, does not freeze, does not require maintenance. The best serrated varieties: Othello, Osiris Fantasy (undersized 50-60 cm), Desdemona.

For beginners or summer residents, with irregular visits, it is recommended to plant flowering herbaceous perennials. I'll tell you about plants that do not require maintenance and look spectacular in the garden

It is not difficult to ensure the continuity of flowering in a perennial flower bed. It is important to select plants taking into account the sequence of budding dates. We present useful information with a list of assortments and care rules for extending decorativeness
Flowering Perennials (daylily And Irises)
Those who are not too fond of lush greenery can have a daylily and irises in their summer cottage. Their pointed, strict leaves discipline, at the same time giving the opportunity to relax in the country, and not work hard from dawn to dusk, caring for the flower garden. After all, are you for the summer cottage or the summer cottage for you?
Flowering Perennials (aster And Carnation)
Aster and carnation are symbolic flowers. Astra is associated with a bouquet of flowers in the hands of schoolchildren rushing to their favorite class on September 1 after a long summer vacation. Carnation is a symbol of two other holidays. It was celebrated on the Day of the October Revolution, forgotten and abused today, and after the victory over Nazi Germany, the carnation became a symbol of the difficult victory that the Soviet people inherited with large losses of red blood. So bright carnations remind of the high price of victory, warning against further mistakes. H
Flowering Perennials (lupine And Delphinium)
Not all summer residents have the patience and time to take care of flowers. And so you want at least the front garden to please the family and guests with elegant colors throughout the summer season. For such, nature has created perennial plants that require a minimum of care. They themselves take care of the heirs, leaving people with rare weeding and thinning of the territory of their residence. In hot weather, they will be grateful for watering. And, if you sometimes feed them with organic matter, they will answer you with exuberant flowering
