The length of such leaves will be about seven to fifteen centimeters, and the width will be equal to four to eight centimeters. The stems of cold gentian are erect. There will be about two to five flowers, sometimes they are also solitary. The flowers of this plant are surrounded by apical leaves, and the corolla is painted in whitish-greenish-golden tones.

Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Eastern Arctic, the Far East, Central Asia, as well as in Western and Eastern Siberia. For growth, the cold gentian prefers peat bogs, bogs, damp stony and gravelly slopes, swampy meadows, moraines, river banks and streams in the upper mountain belt, and sometimes also in the middle mountain belt.
