With this exhibition, we confess our love to the majestic and refined world of textiles.
GRAND TEXTILE is a large-scale fair where you can find designer clothes, vintage outfits, home textiles, lace, dolls and much more, as well as all kinds of materials, fabrics and accessories for needlework.
In the "Fashion Garden" section, famous designers and budding fashion designers show their new seasonal collections. The variety of patterns, colors, textures of fabrics and finishes used by designers to create modern, beautiful and functional clothes, contributes to the creation of an individual image of customers. On Friday, DRESSING DAY is traditionally held, and the guests of the exhibition can take part in the folk fashion show “Dress with History”. An interesting event at the February exhibition will be the project Descended from Pictures by artist Leila Kravtsova, where designer dresses with prints of her paintings will be presented.
A large section of our exhibition is dedicated to vintage outfits. Antique dresses made of Brussels lace, cocktail dresses embroidered with beads of the 20s-40s, clothes of the NEP times and New Look dresses cozily coexist in the exhibition with old peasant shirts of the 19th century, panes, shushpanas, soul warmers from sets of national costumes from various regions of Russia … The masters who create modern clothes with elements of traditional folk costume do not stand aside. Using old museum patterns and patterns, they sew clothes based on tradition, but fashionable and stylish, ideally suited to modern trends and interesting to all generations of fashionistas.
At the exhibition you will take a fascinating journey into the world of old and modern ladies' handicrafts. We have presented samples and patterns for embroidery with ribbons and silk, wool and beads. A rich assortment of fabrics - Uzbek silk, Iranian velvet, Japanese cotton, Ivanovo chintz and modern technological materials will help the birth of new creative ideas. Everything for sewing, heels, batik, weaving and accessories for making dolls can be found in the "HANDMADE QUARTER" section.
A rich program awaits you within the framework of which a defile, contests, an excursion and a master class are planned.

January 31 (Wednesday)
At 18:00 there will be a traditional meeting - a photo session on the stairs in front of the entrance to the exhibition, to which anyone can join. The theme of the photo session is "Embroidery - my love". By the way, on this day the entrance to the exhibition will be free.
February 1 (Thursday)
At 12:00 there will be a fashion show "Dressy Embroidery" and a photo session with the famous photographer Dmitry Babushkin.
At 15:00 we invite you to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the "Puppet Master" magazine at the stand of the competition of textile dolls and toys.
February 2 (Friday) "DRESS DAY"
The fashion show "Dress with a History" will begin at 13:00, in which guests, participants and organizers of the exhibition will walk the catwalk in unusual dresses and tell the stories of their creation.
February 3 (Saturday)
At 12:00, you can join a master class from Lyubov Byalion, to which you can bring a not-so-needed item from your wardrobe and turn it into something unique in the Art upgrade style with your own hands.
February 4 (Sunday)
A tour of the exhibition starts at 12:00. You will hear interviews with participants about their creative work.
At 13:00 Yana Belikova will give a lecture “Berlin embroidery: fashionable needlework of the 19th century”.
