The organizers have prepared a powerful jubilee program this year: dozens of projects, each of which could be a full-fledged independent exhibition, will be seen on one site by Gostiny Dvor. The architecture of this space makes it possible to organically exhibit here both classics and antiques, and experimental modernist and postmodern collections of contemporary doll artists. And contemporary doll art is so diverse and multifaceted that it is impossible to determine its general tendencies or style: everything living, everything developing, everything with great potential for the future.

Gostiny Dvor is a unique opportunity for organizers to gather all the best and famous, famous and beginners, marked with all possible awards and just taking their first loud steps. The geography of the participants is about 30 countries. The number of jobs is beyond counting. And the audience, of course, does not go to this famous exhibition for quantity. Traditionally, the exhibition space is zoned into art projects, an art exhibition-fair and the territory of good: a charity event

This year, the organizers have prepared 32 special projects and hundreds of copyright exhibitions with dolls and Teddy bears. Viewers will see:

- "Year of Barbie in Russia": 60 years is a serious jubilee. The Dolls of the World Foundation announced the current 2019 as the year of Barbie in Russia. And this anniversary is dedicated to the exposition of rare Barbies from the collection of the Moscow Museum of the History of Dolls. Why are Barbies so fond of in Russia? Because she came to us relatively recently, she was not in the childhood of most of our compatriots. Why is Barbie so disliked in Russia? Probably for the same reason. A defiantly bright foreigner, with her large family and difficult biography, ups and downs on the way from a symbol of glamor to a conductor of the main social and humanitarian ideas of society. Viewers will see the rarest Barbie specimens: from the famous couturiers of the XX and XXI centuries; dolls with prototypes in the face of outstanding women of our time; limited editions and collectible series.

- "Vanguard. Theater. Fashion": collection of Hampelman dolls based on sketches by Lyubov Popova in 1921, for staging Krommelink's play "The Magnanimous Cuckold" at the Meyerhold Theater in 1922 (Hampelmann is a wooden toy with movable arms and legs on strings). The dolls are created as part of a large-scale cultural and historical project dedicated to the Russian theater. Anna Tolstikova, a teacher at the National Institute of Design, with her students recreates humpelmans based on the materials of unique sketches of the Russian avant-garde. And the artist Larisa Churkina is preparing a collection of dolls based on sketches by Sergei Eisenstein. Curator Natalia Borisovna Kozlova.

- "Artists to the Museum": exposition of the Moscow Museum of the History of Dolls, which invited the best Russian artists to create their own designer outfits of antique dolls. On the poster of the exhibition is one of these dolls, the costume of which was created by the Moscow artist Natasha Pobedina in accordance with the style and fashion of the 19th century. The exhibition will feature several old dolls "aged" over 100 years old, for which our contemporaries invented new outfits in the spirit of that era.

- "Amadeus": a project that has no analogues in the world. This is a huge exposition with dozens of dolls, castles, park fragments filled with dozens of authors' puppet characters under the direction of Lyubov Lukyanchuk. There are musicians performing Little Night Serenade, couples dancing. Each masterpiece was created by its author, however, all of them are ultimately combined into a single exposition - chamber, light, light and delicate. A stunning surprise for everyone who remembers last year's project based on Bruegel's paintings and for everyone who sees for the first time an interactive composition of snow-white dolls of the new Mozartiana.

Pasha Pasha. NY : the project of a young artist from America of Russian origin Pasha Setrova is brought to Moscow by the Vakhtanov Doll Gallery. And this is another sensation and just a bomb! Collectors have not seen the work of this artist in Russia for almost 10 years! She has been successfully exhibiting in the USA, England, Germany, Korea, Canada and many other countries. A space diva on hinges conquers the planet, causing as much in contemporary art as heated debate and unconditional delight. A huge army of fans is waiting for the release of each new articulated doll, made of 34 moving parts. Hyper-realistic face painting, New York fashion style, dolls created in five shades of human skin by Pasha Setrova are famous all over the world. Among her collectors are Demi Moore, Guillermo del Toro, Fabrizio Viti and others.

- "Birds and People": art project of the Gallery of the XXI century. The curator of the project, Alena Borschagovskaya, one of the first art curators who began to seriously work in art with a modern art doll, is preparing her own project this time in collaboration with several artists from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

- "Dolls of a Child's Dream": German industrial collectible dolls and limited edition toys - new items, rare molds, the most popular "dream dolls" for girls all over the world; hundreds of huge beautiful play dolls, collected under the motto "Every little girl's dream." But this is not a showcase for Detsky Mir: each play doll in this collection is a work of a well-known and sought-after artist, invented specifically for industrial design.
