Heliopsis sunflower (Heliopsis helianthoides / Heliopsis laevis) is a perennial that grows to a height of 70 centimeters. The yellow flower caps are similar to sunflower caps in miniature (6 cm in diameter), reaching an intense yellow hue in some varieties of the species. Growing
Heliopsis love the sun, but they also tolerate partial shade in hot summer. Frost and heat resistant.
The soil is preferred fertile and loose, without stagnant water. Watering is regular, especially during the hot season.
Perennials are propagated by dividing the bush in autumn or spring, immediately planting in a permanent place at a distance of half a meter from each other. When planting, a complete complex mineral fertilizer is added to the soil. It can grow in one place for many years, receiving mineral fertilizing in the spring.

Usage
Heliopsis are frequent guests of village front gardens and country flower beds, which do not require close attention and care.
