The genus of herbaceous climbing plants from the legume family with the Latin name Pueraria, some species of which from ancient times helped the people of Southeast Asia to maintain the longevity of the nation, has become very popular in our time. The ability of plants to increase breast size, an important attribute of secular lionesses living on television screens, has become especially in demand

Common name of plants of the genus

Not always the Latin names of plants, assigned to them by botanists, take root in everyday life. It happened with the plants of the genus.

Pueraria (Pueraria)named after the Swiss botanist, Marc Nicolas

Puerari), who happened to live in two centuries (1766 - 1845). We owe him a description of many of the vegetables that we grow in our beds today.

In ordinary life, many species of plants of the genus Pueraria are called by one common name -

Kudzu … The fact is that the different species into which the plants of the genus of professional botanists are subdivided differ in very subtle morphological features, which are not always definable for an ordinary gardener, and are not so important for decorative cultivation. Moreover, different species very easily cross-pollinate, cross, creating hybrid species, which are even more difficult to attribute to any officially recognized classification "shelf". Therefore, calling such plants the word "Kudzu", it is more difficult to make a mistake, running into a dispute about the wrong name.

Plant species of the genus Puerari, called "Kudzu"

All the plant species of the Pueraria genus, listed below in the text, are climbing herbaceous plants that either climb up vertical supports or creep along the ground, unable to find something to grasp with their tenacious tendrils. In the first case, they become artificial decorators, in the second - a ground-covering human shield.

As members of the legume family, they all perfectly enrich the soil with nitrogen; show the world blue or blue-violet inflorescences in the form of a brush of small flowers characteristic of the legume form. Their stems, growing up to 20 meters in length, are covered with large complex leaves, consisting of three simple leaves, which can be of different shapes in different species.

Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish one species from another, so the name "Kudzu", common to all these species and their hybrids, appeared:

* Pueraria lobular or lobed (Pueraria lobata)

* Mountain Pueraria (Pueraria montana)

* Pueraria bean (Pueraria phaseoloides)

* Pueraria nodule (Pueraria Tuberosa).

More details about each species can be found in our "Plant Encyclopedia".

Pueraria miraculous (Pueraria Mirifica)

Somewhat apart among the plant species of the genus is

Pueraria mirifica

The specific epithet "Mirifica" (wonderful, wonderful) did not get to the plant by accident.

While the aboveground parts of Pueraria Mirifica differ little in appearance from other species of the genus, the underground part of the plant is a real healing treasure for humans.

On the filamentous roots of the plant, rather large tubers are formed, the composition of which is called a panacea for aging. Although some other species have healing tubers, for example, Pueraria Tuberosa, whose tubers can be colored gray or red, the white tubers of Pueraria Mirifica have no competitors in their healing qualities.

Buddhist monks of Thailand, distinguished by an enviable life expectancy, have been familiar with Pueraria Mirifica since at least the 13th century, and maybe even from more distant times. It's just that written evidence of a miraculous plant dates back to this century AD.

The healing abilities of Pueraria Mirifica

White tubers of the plant are created by nature so that a person can fulfill his dream of longevity. The unique chemical composition of the roots allows the human skin to remain young, elastic, shiny, thereby preserving the youthfulness of the whole organism.

Preparations from the roots, leaves and flowers of the plant strengthen the circulatory system, cleanse it of harmful fellow travelers, regulate the amount of sugar and "bad" cholesterol in the blood, and improve memory.

Pueraria Mirifica effectively counteracts the formation of cancer cells …

In general, for a plant there are simply no such problems in human health that would be beyond its power, whose resistance could not be overcome. Moreover, not only traditional medicine speaks about such abilities of Pueraria Mirifica, but also scientific studies of official medicine show.
