Also, to increase the defenses of dill, it is recommended to carry out foliar feeding of plants - for this purpose, a superphosphate solution is combined with potassium chloride in compliance with a 2: 1 ratio. Then thirty grams of the finished top dressing are dissolved in ten liters of water, after which they start spraying the dill with the resulting solution. In this case, it is very important to capture during spraying and root areas together with the lower parts of the leaves. And after a week, it is recommended to repeat this treatment.

When using any of the above methods of dealing with aphids, it will be possible to eat dill only after five to six days, not earlier.

Some folk remedies also help fight aphids. In this case, it is very good to treat the greens with soapy water - to get it, one hundred grams of liquid soap or some other detergent is diluted in ten liters of water. And in the absence of such raw materials at hand, you can replace it with 300 grams of the most ordinary laundry soap, which must first be grated. If you want to make the salvage solution even more effective, then wood ash is also introduced into the hot solution in an amount of 150 - 250 grams. As soon as the solution cools down, they are immediately sprayed with dill, and before using such dill for food, it is quite enough just to rinse it thoroughly with warm water.

Also, in the fight against aphids, you can safely use infusions of marigolds, the well-known pharmacy chamomile, garlic infusion and infusion prepared from well-chopped onions or onion husks. You can plant side by side and onions, garlic with fennel, mint with basil or coriander. But planting dill near bird cherry, linden or viburnum would be a serious mistake - these crops are endowed with the ability to attract aphids, which means that dill will certainly suffer from the attacks of these harmful insects!
