The most ubiquitous of the dangerous sucking pests of cultivated plants are aphids and mites. Some meticulous observer thought that if the offspring of just one prolific aphid were not prevented from developing unhindered and continuing the life of the "clan", then these voracious relatives would only need one year to cover the surface of our planet with a continuous layer of their sticky-sweet bodies. An unenviable picture looms, isn't it?

Of course, in a harmoniously arranged earthly world, pests also have natural enemies. However, a person has to use poisonous chemicals in order to protect their beds from the invasions of uninvited guests. But, the use of chemistry harms the person himself, and therefore more and more gardeners are trying to use methods that are harmless to humans, resorting to the help of persistent weeds.

Sunny Dandelion

A lot of literature has already been written about the useful qualities of Dandelion, and many gardeners continue to wage a merciless struggle with him, clearing their cherished webs of this amazing representative of the plant world. And those who are friends with Dandelion make healing honey from it, make jam, prepare vitamin salads, help greenhouse tomatoes ripen in a shorter time …

And also, dandelion leaves are an effective fighter with indestructible aphids and ticks. To combat pests, an infusion is prepared from finely chopped Dandelion leaves. For a ten-liter bucket of warm water, four hundred grams of leaves are enough. It will take two to three hours for the fighting qualities of Dandelion to migrate into the infusion. We treat aphids and ticks with a filtered solution, spraying plants affected by pests.

An infusion of horse sorrel roots will become an equally effective remedy. But, Sorrel still needs to be able to find somewhere, and not a single Russian settlement can do without dandelions.

Pink mustard or creeping mustard

This perennial thermophilic plant, resembling cornflowers, is a "thunderstorm" for agricultural land. As soon as he gets into a man-made field, he methodically begins to displace cultivated plants, turning agricultural land into a weed field. It is practically impossible to eradicate it, and therefore it is listed in the list of malicious weeds. It is categorically impossible to let him into your garden.

But, if there is such a plant outside the outskirts of your village, then do not be lazy during the flowering period to prepare its grass to fight against aphids. A decoction is prepared from the harvested herb. For ten liters of water, take one kilogram of Gorchak herb and boil the "potion" for half an hour. When the broth has cooled, strain it. To make the broth better "stick" to vegetable crops affected by aphids, thirty grams of laundry soap are added to it.

Yarrow

Yarrow is a representative of the plant world, which nature has generously endowed with numerous advantages. This outwardly spectacular plant with delicate leaves and fragrant small flowers, collected in capitate inflorescences, can decorate a flower garden, become a healer of human ailments, and also help a gardener in the fight against aphids.

The Yarrow herb collected during the flowering period is quite effective in the fight against aphids. For this, an infusion is prepared from the grass. Eight hundred grams of herbs are poured with two liters of boiling water and left alone for one hour. After an hour, add warm water, bringing the amount to ten liters. Then filter and "treat" infusion to aphids.
