The semi-eared mountaineer is a perennial herb, the height of which can reach about one hundred centimeters. The leaves of this plant will be oval-oblong in shape, while they evenly taper at the very top. The length of the stem leaves will be about four to eighteen centimeters, they will be sessile with a heart-shaped base, while the ears of such a base are quite elongated. The dense ear will be four to eight centimeters long, with the perianth being painted in bright pink tones. The fruits of the semi-eared mountaineer are nuts, the length of which is approximately three millimeters.

The flowering of the semi-eared mountaineer falls on the period from June to the month of August. Under natural conditions, this plant can be found in the Far East: in the Amur and Primorye regions. For growth, this plant prefers meadows, mountain valleys, forest slopes, the banks of reservoirs, as well as the edges of deciduous forests and oak groves.

Description of the medicinal properties of the semi-eared mountaineer

For medicinal purposes, it is recommended to use the rhizomes of the semi-eared mountaineer. It is noteworthy that the leaves of this plant contain cyanidin, as well as the flavonoids quercetin and kaempferol. At the same time, tannins are found in the rhizomes of this plant.

This plant is capable of providing anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, astringent, soothing, antibacterial and regulating the functional activity of the digestive system. Also, the rhizome of the highlander semi-eared is used for gonorrhea, goiter, stomach cancer, sore throat, stomatitis and gingivitis. Such a remedy is also effective as a hemostatic and astringent agent for dysentery and hemorrhoids, and such drugs are also used as a means to prevent miscarriage.

It should be noted that in the Far East such a plant has become widespread as a replacement for the serpentine mountaineer. To prepare a very effective remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of dry rhizomes for about one glass of water, such a mixture should be boiled for twenty minutes, and then left to infuse for one hour. After that, the resulting mixture is filtered and added with boiled water to the original level. This remedy is taken about two tablespoons three to four times a day for gastritis, colitis, enterocolitis, dysentery and gonorrhea. In addition, this mixture can be used to rinse the mouth for gingivitis, stomatitis and sore throat.

For kidney stones and gallstones, as well as for stones in the bladder, a very effective remedy should be prepared: for its preparation, you will need to take twenty grams of crushed rhizomes of a semi-eared mountaineer for about one liter of water. This mixture should be boiled over low heat for about twenty minutes, and then this mixture is thoroughly filtered. This remedy is taken one third of a glass approximately three to four times a day before the start of a meal. It is noteworthy that in order to achieve a greater effect, it is also recommended to follow a special diet: during such a diet, one should limit meat and fish food, and also completely exclude fatty, smoked and spicy foods. The infusion of the roots of this plant is also effective for the treatment of diseases of the female genital area.
