This stem is round, inside it will be dense, and the lower leaves are oblong in outline, their length will be about ten to seventeen centimeters, and their width is two to two and a half centimeters. The leaves have short petioles, while the upper leaves of the foreign thigh will be much smaller and cut into linear leaves.

Umbrellas of a foreign thigh have ten to twenty-five rays, which differ in length. In diameter, the umbrella plants are about one centimeter, while the leaves are painted in white tones, they are notched. The fruit of a foreign thigh will be ovoid in shape, and in length it will be about two millimeters.

The flowering of the stranger thigh occurs in the period from June to July. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in the Crimea, Central Asia and the Caucasus. The stranger thigh grows along ravines, in irrigated meadows, among thickets of bushes, along roads, and also at an altitude of up to two thousand meters above sea level.

With a curative purpose, they use not only the roots, but also the rhizomes of the foreign thigh. Rhizomes and roots should be harvested in autumn or spring. The roots of this plant contain coumarins, essential oils and flavonoids were found in the fruits of this plant, as well as a fatty oil, which contains petroselinic acid. As for the herb of foreign thigh, there is a considerable amount of essential oil.

A decoction made from the roots of a foreign thigh is recommended for respiratory diseases, as well as for chronic laryngitis. As for traditional medicine, infusion and tincture made from foreign thighs are widespread here. Such infusions are used for bronchitis, pneumonia, gout, enuresis, ascites, and also as a diuretic for urolithiasis. Also, this remedy is also effective as a diaphoretic, analgesic, antiseptic and lactogenic agent. External use is possible as a gargle for sore throat. It is noteworthy that the essential oil has antibacterial and fungicidal activity, and the juice of the herb of foreign thighs is able to discolor age spots.

When coughing, inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, as well as bronchial asthma, the following remedy should be used: take one tablespoon of dry crushed rhizomes and roots for two hundred milliliters of boiling water, this mixture should be infused for four to six hours, after which the mixture must be filtered. Such a remedy should be taken one fourth of a glass four times a day before meals. As for sore throat, stomatitis and gingivitis, then it is permissible to use such a remedy for rinsing the throat.

In case of gastrointestinal diseases, ascites and kidney stones, it is recommended to take the following remedy: two tablespoons of dry crushed rhizomes together with the roots must be infused for eight hours in one glass of boiled water, after which it is recommended to strain the resulting mixture. Such a remedy should be taken two tablespoons four times a day.
