Calendula belongs to the Astrov family and is especially popular with gardeners. This plant is unpretentious, and its bright orange flowers look very impressive against the background of the green corners of the site. But only a few people know that this flower has a number of beneficial properties

Medicinal properties of calendula

Calendula is a medicinal plant. Its flowers contain a lot of tannins, organic acids, vitamins A, C, potent alkaloids, phytoncides and essential oils. All this determines the healing properties of marigolds (as they call calendula).
