Caring for the plant is extremely simple: regular watering, a shower every 2-3 months, in the spring and summer, fertilizing with any mineral fertilizers with regularity once a month. Does not need spraying. And a wide variety of its types will allow you to choose a plant that will decorate any room, even at home, even in the office.

What is useful for the home? Easily absorbs chemicals sprayed when cleaning a house or apartment, and also destroys bacteria and harmful toxins released by finishing materials. By the way, it is rightly believed that several pots of chlorophytum are able to completely clean the air of the room from toxins and various harmful substances.

Sansevieria (sansevieria, "mother-in-law's language")

Another wonderful and extremely unpretentious plant. To grow "mother-in-law's tongue" you do not have to make a lot of effort. You can generally leave the plant alone and just water it periodically, the sansevier will not die. But her appearance will not be very beautiful either. Therefore, it is better to still make a minimum of effort, then you will get a beautiful ornamental plant.

How to care? For sansevieria, choose a shaded place, but not too dark. An east or west window, or any area with sufficient light, will work well. We take the usual universal soil. Watering is moderate, do not overmoisten the soil, the plant will die from this. Perhaps the only thing that "mother-in-law's language" does not like is waterlogging. Feed once a year with any potassium phosphate fertilizer. Periodically, as it gets dirty, gently wipe the leaves of the plant with a damp cloth, removing dust from their surface. That's the whole care.

What is useful for the home? "Mother-in-law's tongue" perfectly absorbs many toxic substances from the air, as well as carbon dioxide, instead releasing oxygen. By the way, sansevieria belongs to a number of those few plants that are capable of absorbing carbon dioxide and emitting oxygen even at night.
