Tomatoes are a delicious and healthy vegetable. Tomatoes are grown in almost every garden plot. Different types and varieties, colors and shapes of tomatoes allow gardeners to choose the crops that are most preferable for them and their families

Such vegetables are planted under film material anywhere in the garden, indoors, even on balconies and loggias. Tomatoes can be eaten in a variety of forms: raw, baked, in the form of pickles and marinades. Of course, when growing, such a plant requires quite good self-care, but it will also delight in the end result with an excellent and abundant harvest. Breeders from Siberian regions have recently bred a pickling and very interesting tomato variety called French Grozdevoy.

Description of the variety

This tomato variety can be grown in open or closed type of ground. Vegetable bushes have a strong structure, and in height they can reach one meter. When grown, the French Bunchy Tomato requires a garter. But pinching is absolutely unnecessary here. Such tomatoes belong to the category of mid-season plants. The first fruits can be harvested in August.

On the bush, such tomatoes are placed in the form of bunches. Each of them contains five to twenty pieces of fruits. Growing conditions are of great importance here. Tomatoes of this variety have a bright red, almost scarlet color. The shape is finger-like in nature, and the average weight is from eighty to one hundred grams. Therefore, they are suitable for canning. It is very easy to place such tomatoes in a jar. The palatability is not lost over time. From one bush, you can collect about twenty kilograms of the crop. Storage and transportation are very well and calmly tolerated by vegetables.

How to sow French Grozdeva tomato on seedlings?

Planting seeds in a permanent place is required two months before planting seedlings in the open air. Before sowing, it is necessary to protect the tomato from a variety of pests and diseases. On the seeds of such a vegetable crop, all kinds of bacteria and fungi can winter, which pose a serious threat to a tomato even at the growth stage. Planting material can be disinfected by means of a weak solution of potassium permanganate, where the seeds are placed for fifteen minutes.

You can also speed up the germination of seeds by awakening them. For this, the seeds are soaked in water for no more than eighteen hours. Longer soaking periods can degrade the quality of the planting material. Melted water is the best way to awaken the seeds. At the end of the procedure, the inoculum must be treated with bioactive components. In this case, the temperature should be above twenty degrees Celsius. The seeds are deepened into the soil exactly one centimeter. For the germination of seeds, a temperature regime is needed in the form of twenty-five degrees Celsius.

However, some reasons can provoke the death of a young sprout. Such factors include too dense soil, infection in the soil or seeds, too high acidity values, very deep crops, excessive moisture or cold.

Growing

The pick should be carried out at the moment when the seedlings will have two real green leaves. Such tomatoes can be planted in the soil after the end of the spring frost. The age of seedlings at this moment is about fifty five to seventy days. A maximum of two bushes should be located on one square meter, since they are characterized by large sizes and abundant fruiting.

During the entire growing season, the bushes need to be formed. For this, pinching is carried out, although some varieties do not require it. Also, the fertility of the soil affects the quantity and quality of the crop. To do this, during digging in the fall, you can add wood ash, compost, peat, humus and other elements there. Fertilizers must be applied under each bush. Before planting seedlings, you need to pour a solution of nitroammofoska (always warm) into each hole. It is prepared in proportions of one tablespoon of the substance added to ten liters of water. In each hole, you need to place four liters of such a solution and immediately plant tomato sprouts.
