Shoemaker's spread is one of the plants of the family called Umbelliferae, in Latin the name of this plant will sound as follows: Saposhnikovia divaricata (Turcz.) Schischk. Ledeburiella divaricata (Turcz.) Hiroe Apiaceae Lindl. (Umbelliferae Juss.).

Sapozhnikovia spread out is a perennial herbaceous bushy plant, the height of which will fluctuate between thirty and eighty centimeters. The stem of such a plant from the very base will be strongly branched, and the root is rather long and vertical, however, the main umbrella on the shoemaker and spread wide cannot be distinguished. The leaves of this plant will be double-feathery and they are endowed with wedge-shaped lobules, while the ovary, in turn, is covered by transverse outgrowths, which will almost completely disappear on already mature fruits. The whole plant is painted in pale green tones.

The flowering of the shoemaker's spreading falls on the period from July to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of the Daursky region of Eastern Siberia, as well as in the Amur and Primorye regions in the Far East. For the growth of shoemaking, the spread out prefers fallows, places among thickets of bushes, forest edges, steppe, dry and open slopes.

Description of the medicinal properties of shoemaker and splayed

Sapozhnikovia spread out is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the fruits, roots and grass of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes stems, leaves and flowers.

The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content in the roots of this plant of chromones, triterpenoids of cimifugin and 0-glycosylcimifugin, steroids of beta-D-glycoside beta-sitosterol and beta-sitosterol, as well as the following coumarins: emperorina, anomalies, scopoletin, psaralen, deltoin, bergapten, felloperin and xanthotoxin. Alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, coumarins and essential oil will be present in the aerial part of the shoemaker's spread, while the fruit contains flavonoids and coumarins.

In Mongolian folk medicine, shoemaker's spread is used as a very effective antipyretic and wound healing agent. Chinese medicine uses a powder based on this plant to treat leprosy in medicinal mixtures, and topically, as an application, such a powder is used for tumors.

In the composition of multicomponent mixtures, the roots and stems of shoemaker and spread wide are used as analgesic, expectorant, antipyretic and diaphoretic agents. A decoction and infusion prepared on the basis of the roots and stems of this plant are indicated for use in diarrhea, rheumatism, various liver diseases, anemia, hypertension, paralysis, nephritis, flatulence and chickenpox. Locally, such drugs should be used for conjunctivitis.

Tibetan medicine uses a decoction and infusion prepared on the basis of the fruits of this plant for chronic gastroenterocolitis, and also uses it as an anthelmintic agent. Mongolian medicine uses similar drugs to increase appetite and uses it as a general tonic. In addition, in Mongolia, the fruits of the shoemaker's spread are also used as a rather spicy seasoning for various meat dishes.
