The flowering of this plant occurs in the period from June to the month of July. In natural conditions, splayed elecampane can be found on the territory of Ukraine, Belarus, Crimea, the Caucasus, as well as in the southern regions of Russia, in central and southern Europe. For growth, this plant prefers shrubs, forest meadows, forests, places along the river banks and limestone and rocky soil.
