Basal leaves of the shaggy-headed mytnik are located on shiny and fluffy roots on top, while the upper leaves will be sessile. The inflorescence of this plant is almost capitate, dense and loose, and also crested, white-fluffy, and its length reaches fifteen centimeters. The corolla of the shaggy-headed mytnik is painted either in white or in bright pink tones, it is naked and endowed with a straight tube and a barely deflected helmet, its length will be about twenty two to twenty five millimeters. The lip of this plant in outline will be broadly oval and finely serrated, and its width is seven to eight millimeters. The boll of the shaggy-headed mytnik is ovoid, and its length is about eight to ten millimeters.
The flowering of this plant occurs in the month of May, and fruiting will take place in the month of June. Under natural conditions, the shaggy-headed mytnik is found on the territory of Central Asia, Western Siberia, Ukraine and the European part of Russia. For growth, this plant prefers salt licks, solonetzic and flooded meadows. It is noteworthy that this plant is not only an insecticide, but also a honey plant.
Description of the medicinal properties of the shaggy-headed mytnik
The shaggy-headed mytnik is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes flowers, leaves and stems. This plant will be endowed with very effective anti-inflammatory, diuretic, hemostatic and cardiotonic effects.
It is noteworthy that in the experiment it was proved that the infusion prepared on the basis of the herb of the shaggy-eared mytnik has the ability to increase blood pressure, and will also exhibit cardiotonic properties. It should be noted that this plant is recommended for clinical trials as a cardiotonic agent.
Aqueous and alcoholic extract of the shaggy-headed mytotka is endowed with pressor, diuretic, cardiotonic and sokogonic effects, and in addition, it will also stimulate the motility of the gastrointestinal tract.
As for traditional medicine, here this plant is also very widespread. Here it is recommended to use an infusion prepared on the basis of the herb mytnika shaggy-eared, indicated for use in lumbago and acute forms of sciatica.
As a diuretic, antipyretic and hemostatic agent, it is recommended to use the following remedy based on this plant: for the preparation of such a remedy, you will need to take one tablespoon of hairy mytnik flowers per one glass of boiling water. The resulting healing mixture should be left to infuse for about one hour, and then this mixture is filtered very thoroughly. Such a remedy is taken on the basis of the shaggy-headed mytnik three times a day, one or two tablespoons. It should be noted that when used correctly, such a remedy is very effective.
