Relevance
Today, many well-known, world-famous companies are vying with each other to offer their products, using bright advertising, a network marketing system. It's just that my eyes run up from abundance, and my throat is sore from the aromas of cosmetic stores and salons.
But in our difficult time, when they talk a lot about the economy, but do little, it is increasingly difficult to include lines for expensive cosmetic purchases in the family budget. It's time to look back in time to remember the experience of our great-grandmothers, who also wanted to look beautiful and fresh, resorting to the help of plants.
Skin care
Although the winged expression, the authorship of which is attributed to different people, proclaims that it is better to have wrinkles on the face than folds on the stockings, any woman wants to have elastic velvety skin for as long as possible, attracting male enthusiastic looks and adding self-confidence.
Moreover, manufacturers of cosmetic products subdivide human skin into areas, the care of which has its own characteristics and subtleties, and therefore offer a large set of personal products for each area. Thus, the natural "clothing" of a person, presented by the Creator, is subdivided into: skin of the face, neck, skin around the eyes, scalp hidden under the hair; skin of hands, soles of feet, body.
Skin care for face, neck and body
Badan thick-leaved
More and more often, a beautiful plant with a powerful rhizome and leathery large leaves appears in the gardens, growing in the wild on the rocky slopes of Western Siberia. Its leaves and rhizome have rich reserves of biologically active substances. Among them, tannins, which have anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects, stand out.
For cosmetic purposes
leaf and rhizome extract used in the form of lotions to treat oily seborrhea of the face, which often affects young women. Increased sebum production on the face and scalp makes the skin shiny and provokes acne (acne). Such lotions help to cleanse porous skin, inflamed oily skin of the face.
Warty birch
Young branches of white-trunk birch, which are called differently, including warty birch or drooping birch, are dotted with resinous warts (wax glands), which gave the name to the Russian symbol. There are fewer of them on adult plants than on young ones.
Almost all parts of the tree contain tannins, phytoncides, vitamin C, essential oil and many other useful substances.
In early spring when
Birch buds they are just getting ready for awakening, people collect them, dry them and use them for cosmetic purposes. Alcohol tinctures and decoctions are prepared from the kidneys, which help relieve inflammation and irritation of the skin of the face, get rid of itching and acne, and improve skin tone. Traditional medicine treats such skin diseases as dermatitis, eczema with a decoction of the kidneys. And the cosmetics industry uses dried birch buds to make lipstick.
Birch leaves, which are harvested in May, when they are delicate and fragrant, help hair growth. To do this, prepare a decoction of dried leaves and wash your hair with it.
Birch juice, with which the Motherland generously watered the poet, Mikhail Matusovsky, is suitable not only for drinking, being a storehouse of useful substances (fructose, malic acid, potassium, magnesium, iron …), but also for the treatment of skin ailments (boils, rash, lichen, eczema). Birch sap removes excess oily skin. Rubbing the face and neck with juice in the evening and in the morning maintains skin tone, making it firm and fresh.
A valuable gift for a person is
Birch tar (tree resin), which helps fight acne and oily skin.
