Flowering annuals

This group includes snapdragon, osteospermum, ageratum, low-growing varieties of dahlias, always blooming begonia. Until December, the blooming of tuberous begonia can be extended; in December, the bulbs must be removed from the ground for rest.
For abundant flowering, you will have to organize additional lighting. With a strong pull, it will be necessary to periodically lower the temperature to +10 (take it out to the loggia, insulated balcony). For the purpose of spring reproduction in January, pruning of elongated shoots is done. In March-April, young shoots will grow, going to cuttings. Mother plants are also suitable for replanting outdoors.
Ampelous and evergreen
Growing ampelous species in containers, hanging pots, makes them convenient for transportation. For wintering in an apartment, you can take scovola, petunia, gelichrizum, calibrachoa, coleus plectrantus, bacopa. After moving, they will bloom for another 2-3 months.
"Calibrachoa"
Of the evergreens in the apartment, ground cover sedums, periwinkles, heucheras, tolmii, ivy-leaved budras can grow in winter. Small plants are transplanted into a pot and grown at home in a cool, bright place.
Garden crops
For growing on the windowsill, spicy-aromatic plants are brought from the dacha: rosemary, basil, hyssop, mint, parsley, thyme, catnip. These crops are at the peak of table gardening, are used to brew teas, are added to salads, sauces, and meat dishes.
Spicy herbs, being in the room, emit phytoncides, which improve the atmosphere in the apartment. To obtain juicy greenery, additional lighting is arranged from October to March. During the winter, it is necessary to pinch the shoots. Young growths will differ from summer ones in small leaves and thin shoots, but the aroma and taste will remain unchanged.
Gelikhrizum
Of vegetable crops, stunted tomatoes, eggplants, bell pepper bushes and hot ones are suitable for the role of a migrant. Suitable for moving are leafy / cabbage salads sown at the end of summer.
These plants need large pots. Planting in a container is carried out with a large clod of earth, without damaging the root. The first time you need to exclude sunny places and cover the seedling with a film. Long-term fruiting can be with the organization of the backlight.
Bulbous plants
Many people are engaged in home forcing of bulbs. Bring home a small number of bulbs, they will delight with their flowering, decorate the interior. Crocuses, daffodils, tulips, snowdrops, muscari will grow well in the apartment. Suitable for forcing are net iris, poultry, spring, pushkinia.
Home planting can begin in October. You will need pots or containers, a substrate for peat-based flower crops. The onions are planted tightly, almost closely, but they should not touch each other and the walls of the pot. The tops of the heads should slightly peep out of the ground.
I will give an example of placement. In one container, 15 cm in diameter, you can grow 12 crocuses or make a combined planting: 6 daffodils + 3 hyacinths + 6 tulips. After disembarking, cover the ground with polyethylene and put it in a cool place (+ 4 … + 5), many people use a refrigerator or balcony. Duration of seedlings is 8-14 weeks.
After the appearance of sprouts with a height of 2.5-5 cm, you need to put it on a windowsill or other well-lit warm place (above +10). After 10-15 days, the buds will bloom. In the process of forcing, do not over-moisten the ground, watering is rare.
