What means can help get rid of such an unpleasant neighborhood?

Eucalyptus

Spiders really do not like the strong eucalyptus smell, and as soon as they feel it, they immediately rush to quickly change their place of residence. At the same time, for getting rid of spiders, both essential oil and the most ordinary eucalyptus leaves are equally well suited.

Dried or fresh leaves are laid out in boxes, cabinets, shelves and all other places where spiders have been seen, and it will not hurt to treat doorways with window sills with a solution of the essential oil of this plant: it will be enough to take twenty droplets for half a glass of water. A few drops of essential oil are applied in other places most accessible to these insects.

Salt

Its shells contain a chemical compound that is toxic to spiders, so this plant is also great at helping to contain their spread. The fruits of the horse chestnut should be divided into two parts or simply made holes in them, after which it is necessary to place them in the places where the spiders are located. By the way, it is perfectly acceptable to use walnuts for the same purposes.

Vinegar

Another powerful natural repellent! Spiders simply hate the acrid and strong vinegar smell, so it is able to disperse them in a matter of minutes. And if acetic acid gets on them themselves, it can easily kill them. Most importantly, this method is absolutely safe and non-toxic for both humans and pets!

Vinegar is mixed in a container equipped with a spray bottle with the same amount of water, after which they immediately begin to spray the solution in the habitats of spiders. These manipulations are repeated daily, once a day until the spiders completely disappear.

Citronella

This name hides lemongrass, or lemongrass, which is sometimes called shuttlebeard or lemongrass. Spiders, like mosquitoes with mosquitoes, absolutely cannot stand the smell of this plant. At the same time, both for humans and for pets, it does not pose any danger, since it is absolutely non-toxic.

A liter of water is poured into a container with a spray, after which a tablespoon of dishwashing detergent (certainly with a lemon scent) and from five to ten drops of citronella oil are added to it. The mixture is shaken well, and then the spiders are treated with it.

Tobacco

Spiders are also not tolerant to the smell of tobacco, which means that it is perfect for a war with them. One or two tablespoons of tobacco are soaked for about half an hour in a cup filled with hot water. Then the mixture is filtered and combined with juice squeezed from one lemon. Adding a little more water, immediately spray the corners chosen by spiders with the resulting composition. Can be decomposed in spider habitats and chewing tobacco. All of the above actions are repeated daily until the annoying insects disappear completely.

What else needs to be done?

In order to prevent the penetration of these insects into the house from the street, the outdoor lighting should be extinguished in a timely manner - the fact is that the light attracts bugs, which are the favorite delicacy of spiders, and if the external light is turned off, the spiders will go further in search of food. … It will not be superfluous to block the light in the room - this can be done with the help of opaque curtains or blinds.

Also, do not store mountains of unwashed dishes in the sink overnight and leave packages with purchased groceries on the floor. All damaged nets on doors with windows should be promptly replaced, and foliage, stones and mulch should be raked away from home. And, of course, you shouldn't stack firewood stocks along the foundation!
