Description
The guarantor of the perenniality of Goldenrod is a rod woody short rhizome, from which, as a rule, reddish erect stems, strong and durable, are born on the surface of the earth. Depending on the type and living conditions, the height of the plant varies from thirty centimeters to two meters. Most leafy stems do not like to branch, rushing straight to the heavens.
Simple, whole leaves are not devoid of attractiveness, which is given to them by sharp tips, central and lateral veins piercing the surface of the leaf blade, and a serrated edge. Below the stem, the leaves are narrowed into a winged petiole, are larger and ovoid. Higher along the stem, the leaves become smaller, acquire a more oblong shape and lose the root, turning into sessile on the stem.
