Dear friends! We are forced to publish this post due to the aggravation of the situation regarding fraud on the site. We are talking about a topic that is “as old as the world” - first of all, toxic charity

The term "toxic charity" appeared not so long ago, although it has always existed itself - the development of the Internet has contributed to the leap in the dynamics of this problem so much that the term itself has already become a part of our everyday life. It is called toxic because instead of its main goal - the joy of doing a good deed and help, it brings quarrels, squabbles, deception and lies to the world. This includes endless "re-posts" about dogs and cats in need of shelter, whose authors do not even bother to check the timeliness of the information (in most cases, the telephones given do not work, and the dogs themselves have long found shelter), messages that "Masha", "Pete", "Kolya" urgently need money for an operation (most often the diagnosis is difficult to understand not only for ordinary people, but also for doctors - and, to put it simply, it either does not exist, or it is the first disease taken from a reference book), calls to arrange "charitable" fundraising for the funeral of a relative and much, much more.

Unfortunately, scammers will exist as long as we support them - and above all, with money.

We, the Administration, once again urge you to be careful and careful in your actions.: on our portal

it is prohibited by the Rules to publish requests for fundraising, but we cannot prohibit you personally from spending your money on dubious requests from “friends” from the site that are not in public discussion. Also, we will not be able (and should not) provide you with information that will help then "bring" the fraudster to clean water - unfortunately, according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, the provision of any personal data about users is a criminal offense. We will be able to provide data only to persons officially affiliated by law - for example, prosecutors who have such a right. And, moreover, we insist that you, first of all, apply to law enforcement agencies to resolve such ambiguous situations - this is their duty and our right to defend your safety.

We would not like to discuss the situation in the comments - it seems to me that those to whom it refers will understand it without further discussion. For everyone else, we hope it will serve as a warning.
