Almost everyone who has a land plot, cottage or garden tries to decorate them with all kinds of flowers. They make flower beds and flower beds more beautiful. They are usually placed near resting places, that is, near a gazebo, benches or at the entrance to a house. To make a flower garden pleasing to the eye, of course, you need to know some secrets and have at least a little gardening experience
First, you need to decide what kind of flower bed you would like to see in your summer cottage. There is such a style as rustic, it represents flowers planted in a wheel from cars, in old cast-iron pots, various decorations from unnecessary things.
At the moment, the types of compositions with artificial trees and coniferous shrubs are very fashionable and interesting. Such flower beds look very unusual and beautiful. The plus is that caring for them is minimized, and they will delight with their beauty all year round. It must be remembered that such compositions require acidic soil, which includes peat, coniferous litter and sod.
The prepared mass must be poured into a previously dug hole. The layer should be about 50 cm. It is better to plant coniferous plants and trees farther from each other, because they will grow over time. The edges of flower beds and flower beds should also be decorated to give them a complete look. Little trick: make the edges of the flower bed from perennial flower crops. Today, a huge number of schemes have been invented, where everything is described in detail and compiled according to shades and according to the frequency of the flowering phase of plants. With good and proper care, such compositions will not require replanting new plants from the owner of the garden.
There is also a type of flower bed with continuous flowering. Such beauty will look great at the front door. Here are some tips for creating it:
1. Both annual and perennial plants should be present, and shrubs will not be superfluous.
2. It is necessary to choose such flowers, the requirements of which will coincide in terms of watering, illumination, etc.
3. Such a flowerbed should not contain enemy plants, such as loosestrife, decorative runny, etc.
It will be necessary to create on paper a schematic plan of how the flowerbed will look like, and how the plants will bloom on it.
Estimated list of perennial flowers:
Spring season - hyacinth, anemone, hellebore, erantis, crocus, etc.
Summer season - there is a rich selection of perennial flower crops: iris, peony, bell, carnation, lily, varietal chamomile, etc.
Autumn season - sunflower, chrysanthemum, sedum, zinnia, snapdragons, marigolds, etc.
Off-season plant species are, of course, conifers: juniper, spruce, etc. The final list will depend on the size of the planned flower bed.
It is not difficult to prepare the soil for the future flower bed, it is advisable to do this in early autumn. The selected area must be dug up and carefully remove the remnants of weeds and roots. After a week, you can start planting perennials. If not all plants are available in the fall, then you can postpone the process until spring. Next spring we start planting annual plants.
