The flower baskets of this plant are rather small, they consist of reed flowers endowed with a tuft. Flower baskets are collected in a paniculate inflorescence and are painted in yellow tones.

The flowering of the roofing skerda falls on the period from June to July. For growth, this plant prefers crops, shrubs, fields, cliffs and deposits near the roads. Under natural conditions, roofing skerda is found on the territory of Belarus, Ukraine and Russia.

Description of the medicinal properties of roofing skerda

Roofing skerda is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes stems, flowers and leaves.

The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of gamma-lactones and flavonoids in the herb of roofing skerda, while green shoots contain ascorbic acid.

For swelling of the legs, it is recommended to take a bath with the addition of the herb of this plant, and herbal poultices are indicated for use in furunculosis.

As for Tibetan medicine, here this plant is quite widespread. Roofing herb should be used for atherosclerosis, bronchitis and pneumonia, and also used as a very effective antiemetic. The infusion, prepared on the basis of the herb of skerda roofing, should be used internally for various diseases of the nervous system, tuberculosis of the bones, bruises and gastralgia, as well as as a laxative. In the form of poultices, it is quite acceptable to apply the crushed herb of this plant to the skin for carbuncles and furunculosis.

For atherosclerosis, it is recommended to use the following very effective healing agent based on this plant: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take one tablespoon of chopped dry grass roofing for about two cups of boiling water. It is recommended to first leave the resulting medicinal mixture to infuse for about one hour, after which this mixture based on this plant should be filtered very carefully. The resulting drug is taken on the basis of roofing skerda three times a day, regardless of food intake, one tablespoon in atherosclerosis. It should be noted that in order to achieve the greatest efficiency, it is important to carefully observe not only all the rules for the preparation of such a healing agent, but also strictly follow all the norms for taking such a drug based on a roofing scurd.
